Makes it even more clear with whatever centre you’re getting to partner Capewell, just do it, and just whoever you are OK with staying there. No time to fiddle and try and generate cash in the position. IMO even though minus BE, anyone going with Best are committing to him for the season. Which is fine, but just some realism needed on this one
I toyed with Wiliame to Mitchell myself but then thought fk it. Crichton’s fine and I like the banked trade more than I like Mitchell over Crichton
Holy fuck, now I’m doing it...
Cook is a legit option over Haas this week imo.
Haas maybe get a breather for 15mins when down by 30!
If it was an option I would rather take 2 autos than pick 2 centres. Sadly in 2020 they are still making us put up with that garbage position
If I had to get one to play this week I would be going with Averillo. Bank the 250k+ and take the 20 points that the "guns" are capable of dishing up

Mate I haven't got time to critque it properly, but I posted earlier today, if I had Capewell and Lomax, I wouldn't be fucking around with centre trades. I don't see Best as a must have. A good score this week though does make great cash though.
Ok fair enough,thanks mate

Ponga's break even is 30? So if he gets a score of 65 how much will he cost next week? Also how is it calculated so I can try estimating how much by each score I think he might get possibly this round?
Around 50k mate. As below, link to mytvbroke's site:

Changing the captain this close to lockout is asking for trouble
As in FPL, bus captain all the way. Even though I'm aiming to set & forget Haas all season unless I see a major reason to change

I think that's all well thought out. I would add though, that as well as no byes it's a shortened season. Hopefully we'll need less injury cover with less weeks to get injured. I also think you need to keep in contention to some extent with the leaders and hope to hold on. I remember Verbal saying a couple of years ago when he was in the top ten, that he didn't tell anyone at the time, but had no trades for like the last five weeks or something. If you've got trades to come home strong, that's great, but it's also hard to catch up over only a few weeks. I'm not trying to talk you out of your strategy. Just food for thought.
My chance of winning went out the window when the Broncos lost all their players early. Avoiding Haas for the value is all well and good until he starts busting out 80 minute games. From here it's about a respectable finish and helping someone here get the win

Quite right. I just think Cook and Murray are going to make the Titans look silly this week

Would you go HTF/ Talau, 2 outside backs that are pretty untried at first grade level or go for Fuimaono whos job security isnt the best either and also costs 150000 ish more. All players would be starting this week, and maybe next.

How is cost calculated based on break even anyone know? I wanted to get Ponga in this week did not expect him to get that much against Canberra and now coz of centre injury have to wait another week so trying to work out how much to keep in bank if worst case scenario happens and he gets a high score again this week against Storm. So his break even is 30? What is price is it 1k per point past breakeven?

To be fair it would be nearly impossible to be less competitive than last week

Would you bring Fogarty in instead of HTF?

Where are you ranked now though? Regardless of how you're going I always try to finish as high as possible. There is still heaps of goals to set yourself. Get in the best league possible for next year. Try to finish top 100. Maybe a Roosters finish isn't unachievable etc.

I'm well back now in ~13k. Still expecting a top 1000 finish but no chance of competing
