There's a lot of you Tigers supporters on here. For those old enough, were you originally Magpies, or Tigers? Just curious.

And are the optics from the outside true that the Balmain and Leichardt oval mob feel so superior in this relationship and that the tiny magpie on your shoulder is annoying, and having to play the odd game in that Campbelltown ghetto hideous?

Personally got over the merger very quickly. But I never lived in Sydney so I figure it should have been a lot easier for me having not grown up in the areas.

Yeah I hear most Balmain fans did. Like it never happened.

Watching that Broncos game last night, AFB was the difference for Manly.
Weak middle defense second half from the Broncos. Can see Glenn in a job share at hooker because Paix is a poor defender.
Yes, he doesn't miss many tackles, but he doesn't stop them in their tracks like most top line hookers.

Can see Oates and TPJ starting edge, Glenn hooker and Paix bench.

Flegler, Paix, Ofa and 1 of Kennedy/Teo/Niu on bench.

You and me both. Except No Tedesco, McInnes, Cleary, Moses, DCE, Ponga.

Edit: My team just feels weak as hell compared to most others and it showed last week and probably this week as well. I cant double gun next week but with 530k in the bank I can offload Croft at the very least

I never knew that many Balmain fans but certainly in 2000 the Balmain part of the merger were far superior. They had the talent and the money, all we could bring to the table was the spoons, and we had plenty of them. Thanks though to Benny and the team Balmain has now become totally irrelevant and only has token board members. The club is run by Wests, and funded by Wests (nothing from Campbelltown). Wests even purchased Balmain’s debt - and there was a lot of it. The Magpie on the shoulder originally may have upset the Balmain faithful, now it’s there as a reminder as to who is boss. It’s over 20 years now since the merger so I think everyone has moved on. I know my kids have no idea who Balmain or Western Suburbs were.

Having held off on Turbo getting Teddy could be a big rank climb power play but have to lose 2 of Drinkwater Pap Mann and to cover any outside chance of Burton starting and becoming a must trade Drinkwater would have to go before Penrith game

Reece Robson has just gone from bench to starting, and he wasn't cheap enough to tempt many people.

Verrills will probably be sub $300k next week, if he got a long term starting spot, we'd be all over him like he was a centre who'd just scored 2 tries

    I'm looking at Pap+Drinkwater>Best+Teddy

I can't hold onto the trade outs because they might come good. I know what Teddy is already doing

Do I have enough cows for final team $$$ making?

Paix Clark Mann Guler Crichton Lucy Katoa Rudolf Wiliame possibly Horse. Some have near peaked

Robson Different was playing big minutes anyway, may as well have been starting.

People expecting Turbo to match Teddy/Ponga scores for 150-200k less were always going to be mistaken. I bought Turbo specifically for his value given you will likely have to target undervalued keepers to get a great squad this year

Turbo best season was 51.9 in 2019 (excluding-1 score) while Teddy and Ponga have had averages easily over 50 (and close to 60 in Teddy’s case)

Actually a tough one. Big game for Panthers vs Eels. Knee issue for Luai seems to have been confirmed.

I'd probably have a punt, not sure on who, maybe Crichton. At worst you might miss out on 10 to 15 pts but at best you might net +25 or so
