I've got a soft spot for them. Lot of the family were Balmain supporters. If I wasn't a Roosters man I would be a Tigers man

Were Balmain a team that a lot of people in QLD got behind, before the Broncos?

When I was really young the Tigers were kinda a second team for me, I must have got that from someone though

Turbo best season was 51.9 in 2019 (excluding-1 score) while Teddy and Ponga have had averages easily over 50 (and close to 60 in Teddy’s case)
Not sure anyone has expected Turbo to match Ponga and Teddy, I mean Turbos best stretch of game is only just unders on Ponga, but no where near Teddy. Turbo always been under 50 long term. His 53 is just a stretch of games last year I’d bet a full season he would of dipped back under 50. Always been the 3rd best WFB option for me with Papy having potential to overtake him

You'd think it be easy for bronco supporters to be level headed, when most of them have an even number of them.

that 14-17 is as good as you'd want (with in the confines of reality). Average close to 50, high % ownership and making money.

Sure, you'd love your 18-21 to be making more money, but most people are carrying someone shitty like Williame but its hardly weak.

Out of curiosity, if those guys are outside your 17, you must be playing some cheap players. Who are they?

Is it reasonable to assume Drinkwater will score better with Lolo back besides the fact it's the Warriors

I don't get why people are so keen on getting the big guns in the WFB before fixing all the other positions. I'd rather get a 600k Horse, Macca, Pearce than a 700k Turbo at this stage of the game. So much more consistent

His base stats haven't really changed over the course of the four rounds. Between 100 and 200 kick metres, 15-16 tackles, 80 odd run metres.

It will be one or two nice plays that are the difference and pump him up to 45+. Try assist, line break, try, etc. If the Warriors struggle again I'd bank on him to take advantage, but really, who knows?

This is me, pretty much how I try to build my team every year. WFB guns are usually last on the upgrade list. Probably slight change this year as I've gone for guys like Yeo and Mofo who i've backed to elevate to "gun status"

Tigers were always my second team as i went to school up the road, with plenty of boys brought in to the school to play for them.

I mean im a massive raiders fan, and for the life of me i don't understand how people can hate the raiders.

Nobody knows who’s going to score what or when. Think we’ve all learnt in the past that matchups usually mean fuck all.

I HATED the tigers growing up - mainly because Elias, Roach and Sironen played for them. I really have very limited memories of Wests in the late 80s/early 90s - we probably didn't get many of their games on TV.

Probably because Ponga and Tedesco are only going to go up in price in the next few weeks. Pearce's injury affected score is going to keep him low for a couple of weeks while some of the cows increase a bit more, and I would have thought most people who want Horse already have him. That said I don't understand the Turbo hype.

In Brisbane you still have Tigers and Magpies don’t you. Easts and Souths I think. We’re East’s a particular popular or successful club in the 70’s or 80’s?
