Except maybe Aubbs Love and Collins

I think Broncos definitely have the better pack but Roosters have the better team composition. Broncos seem to work for themselves.... Roosters work for each other.

I am tending to look at them on paper rather than how they are playing as a pack. They aren’t cohesive yet, but they also havnt just won two premierships together. Broncos pack is by far the scariest around when you look at the individuals.

Oh well, I guess I'll just use him to loop between Luai and Rudolf.

I can also use Wiliame to get a look at The Herminators score.

Didn't a whole bunch of people start with Ese'ese, and then ditch him after his poor first couple of weeks.

I mean, he's cheap, but what are you going to do if he goes back to scoring 20s

Wasn't SST seen as the best prop in the game for a fair while last year? And a golden boot nominee?

Carrigan and Radley are a tie because Carrigan is still fresh but shows great promise but Radley seems to be relishing in the new rules. Crichton beats TPJ for skill and game IQ. Butcher beats Offa because Offa is just a plodde. Liu beats Flegler because Flegler still to young. Glenn beats Aubbo because he just doesn and Teo beats Collins because see Liu point.

There is no way you just picked fifita over cordner Lol I really hope that was a joke.

All good if it pays off but I don’t think there is much room to be doing these kind of trades.

    Just my opinion

Cordner has had about 1 full season since 2015. This isn’t who we are selecting for a hall of fame scenerio, it’s who you would have in your team right now. If you wouldn’t pick up David Fifita over him you are dreaming

Having the best pack in the comp really doesn't mean a thing without synergy throughout the team, or a decent back line to capitalise on opportunities created by the forwards. Broncos have had 'the best pack' for a length of time now with nothing to show for it. Last night the broncos key play was a kick to Coates in a backline that has had a while to sort their shit out even with Bird's exclusion (which was a few months back now). Compare that to the Raiders, Roosters, Storm, even the Eels. The Rabbitohs have much more complexity in their forwards than the Broncos.

The only real difference in the Broncos backline since R1 is Coates for Oates.

Broncos backs are just shithouse and there's no fixing it. Forwards don't mean shit. Not sure if D fifi and TPJ being back will make a huge difference to their longer term prospects if they don't figure out how to work with the backs they have got, but happy to be proven wrong

If I'm trying to win right now and have a choice of any 2nd row in the league I'm taking cordner and Frizzell.

Hang on... can someone remind me when David fifita played a full season of NRL hmmm

If you were creating a pack right now featuring anyone in the league, it would be ridiculous to pick Cordner over Fifita.

Fifita wins/has won games through individual brilliance. Imagine how good he would be if you could hand pick the other 12 guys on the side that knew how to play football

Just put him in the roosters side right now and hed be unstoppable

I mean, not to call bias on this but we have an avid Roosters supporter making claims for the Roosters, and here I am as a dedicated Broncos hater armed with only righteousness.

Do you realise how much it pains me to be defending the Donkeys?

That is with us missing Glenn Fifita TPJ.

    Name a better forward pack

    Haas
    Lodge
    Fifita
    TPJ
    Carrigan
    Offa
    Flegler
    Glenn
    Teo

Its way too forward heavy though and our team is struggling for it.

My biggest concern is that there is no forward leader. Glenn is too passive to be the big man in the room. I feel like letting TPJ and keeping McGuire would have led to a better rounded side. Not as talented but having a guy like McGuire to take the heat off, set the standards at training, teach the youngsters about the week to week grind of the NRL, importance of dieting+nutrition and also just pull them into line when shit hits the fan is incredibly important to a team. Sometimes we(me included) forget that football games aren't played on paper and these are living, breathing humans that need outside influences

As a side note very impressed with what I saw from Te'o last night in this respect. Didn't stop talking from the moment he came onto the field, telling guys which position to slide, calling out attacking structures, pulling guys back from marker. This is normally the job of the fullback, but again Isaako is a very young guy in a key position

Is there any point keeping Guler with 22 BE with Horse out. No reason he gets any more minutes and was a main candidate to be sold
