Option 2: Mitchell and Foto-leaves 86k in bank

Option 1 requires Averillo to play lol whereas Option 2 means no Teddy

Kind of looks like it, but could depend how well this new rotation performs. Sharks have been horrid this season, but paid off vs. them.

Titans this week, so a win doesn't necessarily say much there either, but a loss could result in them rethinking it (particularly if Hunt gets sooky being on the bench).

Aren't they paying Hunt like $1 million a year? Probably be a few people in management murmuring about paying him that much to sit on the bench regardless of results. Will need to keep winning to shut them up.

Next week vs. Roosters could be the real test.

Clune is an absolute trap, they also go to normans side 3 times to 1 making Fui just as much a trap.

Just realised that I can choose to trade Luai instead of Drinkwater for Teddy. Still stuck with Drinkwater out?

Talks of Papy sideways trades have been going on for the last 3 weeks.

    It's clickbait headline

This is what it actually says in article: Grant should be right to play after he trained during the week but Leilua will have to pass a fitness test - though he declared on Thursday he will be good to go.

I wish I had good HLFs.. or good WFBs.. or good Forwards.. or premier HOKs, or CTRs in general... I HAVE FUCKING NOTHING!

    Keepers:

    P. Haas, J. Taumalolo, J. Tedesco, I. Yeo

Keepers because I wont have a choice:

    A. Koroisau, H. Grant, P. Carrigan, L. Mitchell, B. Best, R. Papenhyuzen, L. Leilua, E. Katoa

    Players to upgrade:

    J. Friend (Last Upgrade/Potential Keeper), K. Mann (Upgrade)

    Broncos who need to go:

    B. Croft (Upgrade), J. Isaako (Upgrade), C. Paix (Cashout)

    Whats Left:

    J. Taunoa-Brown (Cashout), T. Rudolf (Cashout), J. Luai (Cashout), J. Averillo (Wont trade unless he makes bulk cash)

    Trade Targets

    D. Cherry-Evans, N. Cleary, M. Moses (Would like 2)
    K. Ponga
    A. Twal/C. McInnes/C. Smith/D. Cook (Twal makes sense cover wise, McInnes looks better)

    -----------

All of this planning, and I still wont have a strong 17th player. I have outlined 8 trades I will need to make and I want 4 trades once my team is sorted. That means I can bring in 3 more cashcows and trade them out this year.

My 8 trade outs value roughly 3.8 million. Me wanting to trade in Ponga/McInnes/Cleary/Cherry-Evans + 4x 240k players will cost 4.5 million. So I need 3 cashcows that will earn me roughly 700k... Fuck.

Of course I can still wait on my current cows to peak which should shorten that by some margin and I dont need to buy someone like McInnes at such a premium. Guys like Pearce, Fotuaika, T. Trbojevic, Twal, J. Trbojevic, M. Taupau are on my list to look at and even keeping Friend over McInnes saves $300k. My first priority is my HLFs, which sucks cause I would like to dump Isaako first. Oh an all thid beautiful planning and I still wont have a decent 17th man. So I could forgo one of those trade outs and opt for an extra Cash cow trade and hope I make up the difference.

Your team doesn't look any weaker than anyone elses Random, I wouldn't stress too much. I think Croft will go on a run eventually. Friend you would think would be a keeper. Signs were good for him last week with Verills not on the bench. Not sure why he's back.

I reckon this changes week to week depending who they're versing and what young players they want to give match fitness too in case of injuries, etc.

I agree it isnt weaker than most other teams, just the lack of HLFs and no Ponga make the squad feel ugly.

I think of all the sides, Roosters manage to win most weeks, even with key players missing, like Teddy a couple of weeks ago. They do a great job developing young players. When other sides are missing key players they all seem to fall apart.

Tbh I have no clue where the cash is going to come from unless some mid season cows deliver a quick 200k a pop or the big guns (that I dont have) leak some cash. There has been a heap of failed cows.

Ended up going Lucy > McInnes & Capewell > Clune. Ive decided Clune is a worthwhile risk for a couple rounds, while McInnes provides massive scoring potential. I couldve upgraded to a better half but im actually waiting to see who i really want at that position, as i still really dont know at the moment.

Random I wouldn’t stress my team isn’t gonna have a really strong 17th man either.

I really hope so. I was close to trading him but decided to keep the faith so a big game would just be fantastic!
