Anyone after yesterday starting to really worry about trades? Got 16 left and it feels a lot of teams will be running the last 6 weeks without trades. 14 rounds left. 16 trades with 14 rounds seems alarming, especially with the carnage and the dud cows. Players like Horse, Lucy etc are looking like they are going to have to be classed as keepers.

I wish ya hadn’t dropped ya Lucy’s a keeper line. I would have had Drinkwaters 60 odd and Saifiti would be making more money haha.
As it is Drinkwaters at 18 with no way in haha
Trades are a worry yes

Haha sorry mate, that wasn’t meant to come across as a blame game.
Really worried about my remaining cash cows though. Can’t see Luai, Paix and HTF making huge amounts of cash from here on

Teeth Eater wrote:What an interesting couple of nights. Didn't get to get on the forum last night, so just a few thoughts encompassing both nights.
How did owners feel about Latrell last night? Jeez it's hard work as a new owner watching him. It's 100% quality over quantity as the fella doesn't mind staying away at times, but I personally really enjoyed his accumulation of 52 points. Some really nice touches. Just wish he kept himself involved. It's amazing how he racks up something like 5 or more sets without even touching the ball - no other fullback in the NRL would even attempt that business. But as long as he keeps up those point scoring plays, I'll ride this thing out and enjoy the turmoil.
Touches by a fullback this week (80 minutes only, excluded Thompson, Tedesco for injury)
RTS - 30
Dufty 27
Ponga - 45
Edwards - 32
Papenhuyzen - 35
Doueihi - 22
HTW - 25
Gutherson - 37
Less involved Latrell managed 28
He's clearly not at a Ponga level, but to say he isn't involved is just looking at him differently to other fullbacks because he is "lazy"
Tedesco only got 22 in his 60 minutes so was on track for a similar level too.
He gets as much chance to score points as everyone else

15/774 Horsburgh and Rudolf to come.
ATM I'm holding ground in the 800s (gained about 50 places).

Luai - why is he so shit?
He's not a terrible player, but his score doesn't translate to fantasy. No bulk kick metres so needs to get a lot of attacking stats for big points, but isn't the focal point of his team either.
He's made $150k, but probably time to move him on fantasy-wise
So many missed cows in Saints/Titans match - Fogarty, T.Boyd, Clark... even Clune and Jolliffe to a degree. Missed every single one of these guys.
Nobody has them all. Especially T.Boyd and Joliffe. Anyone who had them before this week probably wasn't doing well anyway.
Joliffe hasn't demonstrated how sustainable he is yet either
Drinkwater - I obviously saw his try, but not much else. He actually had a good game overall? Got involved?
Marsters - seriously considered hopping aboard this week in desperate centre times. Still scored just below his BE... tempting prospect but just not sure now that I brought Latrell in already.
Twal - what the balls happened?? Didn't see this on the highlights and missed it reading back over select posts tonight. Injury?
HTF - watching him last week after I brought him in then, I was already worried. Could he possibly be shitter? Just doesn't look at all like he wants to be a part of the action. I only saw highlights, but going off last week and what I saw in highlights, do we see him in the 17 next week? I guess he'll have to be on the wing at very least, but jeez. Kid seriously needs to want to be a part of the action.
The first half from the Cowboys was the worst half from any team all year. They were abysmal and could not tackle to save their lives. 34-0 probably flattered them a little.
2nd half they improved, and Drinkwater (along with Lolo) was the main attacking threat. Could almost have had more attacking points too (cutout pass for a 'try assist' but winger put a foot out)
Marsters was one of the key offenders for the first half woefulness. if people thought SCrichton might get dropped last week for getting beaten by Waqa Blake twice, then Marsters is miles from first grade material
HTF was on 0 at half time (or maybe 1) so everyone live watching was pretty pleased with his final score. Most of the points he did get came from a single run.
Going to the wing probably not ideal when Holmes comes back, but Cowboys wont suck that badly every week.
Knee injury for Twal. MCL was all iced up on the sideline. He'll miss game time for sure, just a matter of how much.

789/14 (C), makes for on track for three good weeks in a row, as long as nothing goes horribly wrong with Jurbo, Rudolph and Kennedy to go.
After being ranked 10,000 after round 3 very happy that I should be close to getting into top 1,000 after this week

100%. That’s why I tried to plot out my moves a few threads ago to figure out where I’d have to skimp a bit and what sort of team was realistic
“Numbers May be a touch off as I’ve adjusted them a little since the math at the bottom but you get the idea. Brackets are trades and money needed or gained. Would appreciative any wisdom
Cook
Mofo Carrigan
Katoa (Fifita -160) Lolo Lucy (Matterson/yeo/jurbo/Murray -140)
Moses Mann (Cleary -200)
shibasaki Mitchell
Papi (likely 18th man) ponga turbo
Api Grant friend horse (haas -360)
HTF (tedesco -500-550) rudolf (cheapie+260)paix (masters -70k) Luai (cheapie + 150)
= 6 upgrades = 1.6mil -410 from 2 downgrades =1.19mil - 244k itb = .865
= 8 trades
5 for injuries
3 (+2 cows from downgraded mentioned) for cows =400k made max in and out for red dot = 420 short
Probably have to skimp at 18th man giving me 300k or split cash between 17 and 18 and loop. Is anyone else planning this?
Eg RTS and papi with a red dot to save the cash for teddy (instant regret typing that but you get the idea)
What have I missed?”

I have quite possibly the Shitiest ctr pairing in fantasy taking the field today. A combined 20pts would be nice.

Trades remaining definitely a concern. I have 15 left and 11 or 12 keepers. Most concerning is that the cash generation from cows has dried up with Paix, Luai, Wiliame all to deal with and HTF looking borderline. Going to be hard to make simple upgrade trades to guns later

A constant worry tbh.
Got 16 left, though at this stage I have no reason to trade this week. Id like to be able to get through a few rounds from here without making any.
HTF in the 17 doesnt fill me with alot of confidence.
Unfortunately I have both wiliame and Paix so there isnt a lot of money being generated. Rudolf and Fogarty going ok tho.
If a cheap cow pops up ill probably have to jump on but the most recent ones havent been too successful

Just a heads up mate, Moylan still in reserves for Kennedy.
