Trades of the week: considering 1 cow and 1 gun. This will let me go 1 cow and 1 gun next week as well (IF NO ONE GETS INJURED). Next week's cow will be Niu if he holds his spot, high be this week so he can wait
This week's cow options:
- Farnworth: ideally gets DPP tomorrow, mid 20-30 scorer and will likely goal kick with staggs/isaako out. Cheap at 224 so frees up cash
- Talau: ideally gets DPP as well, tackle busting winger along the lines of Nofo/Mansour so hope he keeps that up. Hammy is a worry but could happen to anyone really. 267k
- Averillo: decent scores thus far in the centres but just don't rate him. Think he'll hit a 10 soon and drop off. But the lowest BE of the lot and potential to make cash if I'm wrong in my assessment. He could just end up being another Lomax type who scores 40 wherever he plays while being an average player. 272k
Gun options that I'm looking at:
- Ponga: pay what you get for 861k. Best wfb next to Teddy. Up against struggling Cows this week
- Matterson: Playing extremely well and with a low be. Could be the week to grab him before he reaches Lolo price
- Munster: gut tells me he's due for a massive score. Yet to score a try and up against Warriors... and after a loss last weekend, Bellamy will have the Storm fired up to drop 50 points. Slightly cheaper than cleary/dce at 774k
- SJ: similar to munster, back to back 70 scores with no tries yet this year. And goal kicks. Bit cheaper at 744k. There's also Flanagan and Pearce at cheaper price points but I've learnt sometimes it's worth paying a bit more for a better player
- Mofo: we know what he can offer by now, priced at 695k. Leaning towards waiting a week for Taupau to drop instead (currently 715k, be 80) to get a FRF replacement for Twal who has a pedigree
If anyone has any agree/disagree with some points that'd be swell
