I grabbed Pearce a couple of weeks ago, bit of a punt really, part of the reason was lack of cash generation. I figured Pearce could hopefully get reasonably close to the top tier halfs. (whereas no one is going to get close to Teddy/Ponga)

Ideally he'll be a luxury trade out/upgrade later on in the season though.

I think I'm pretty set on three trades.

Drinkwater, Katoa, Paix -> DCE, Talau, Niu

Question is whether I trade Leilua to Young and bank 236K to target JTB -> Taupau next week with still ~100K to target Ponga later on. Can also go Leilua to Taupau this week and leave a fresh slate for next week, or just hold the trade.

Any advice?

$300K would basically guarantee DCE + Tauapau next week if I wanted them, and probably allow another upgrade as well (save it for when DFifita comes back maybe)


Robson probably the cheapest guy who can expect 50+ from so have to consider (Maybe Butcher but I think he is a bit of a risk and coudl easly go high 40s, whereas Robson 50+ is safer)

Do you see him becoming a more dominant ball players and increasing his try assists or getting meat pies each week?
The good news is even if he scores 30 odd, his price won't drop

The difference with people who already own Pearce and you is they already have made their mind up long ago so don't have a choice
I won Cameron Murray, some people want to bring him in where I would prefer Taumalolo. But that would involve wasting trades and unbalancing the team to bring him in
It will all balance out over your 17 players, having both DCE/Cleary means weaker elsewhere

JTB to Taupau is a big upgrade though I guess.

Yeah going well, I do the later and early feed so get 1am to about 6am with a couple of interruptions between
Back to work next week so will see how that goes, but enjoying it overall

Will get her trained up in spreadsheets and stats soon enough and put her to work

The other day Robbo said he’s got something up his sleeve re other options besides Friend, yeah I feel he was talking about Lussick getting some game time the young hooker but could Butcher potentially play a few mins at hooker? Then again it’d probs be Aubbs wouldn’t it.
