Would Friend to Yeo be sideways (assuming Verrills remains on bench & Yeo stays lock)

Still trying to figure out whether I just hold cash & trades and wait to do Friend to Cleary in 1 trade or get Yeo in now and then look at doing 2 mid rangers to Cleary + likely Best when Cleary returns

I expect Yeo to stay at lock, but I don't expect him to continue to get 80 minutes with both JFH and Tamou also being big minute middles and Koro as an 80 minute hooker. Would be a waste of their bench.

    They will change

    From fantasy noticeboard:

    LEAGUES
As the competition, had officially begun in standard advertised format, your Fantasy scoring and the associated league ladders and rankings remain unaffected, but we will realign your league’s match-ups accordingly (e.g. the last round(s) of the regular season will align to your head-to-head Fantasy league finals series) such that your league Grand Final corresponds to Round 20. This realignment should occur when the full new draw is integrated.

Kennedy owners - the "moylan not playing rnd 3" seems to be based on this quote -

“He’s looking good on the field, he’s running well... he’s doing pretty much everything with the team now but I’m not too sure he’ll be back the first game but he is doing everything in his power to get back on the field,” Brailey said.

Wouldn't say there is anything certain either way about that.

Brailey also re-iterates his desire to play 80 minutes, "But we have Connor Tracey who can fill in there. He’s fast out of dummy half, it’s up to Bomber but I definitely want to play 80".

I feel I am sitting in the box seat at the moment with my team. I need to be smart with my trades these next two rounds. It's my chance to make a real push towards the top or bomb out all together. Only 104 points off 1st place so that can be made up easily.

    Tomorrow

From article about venues: The official draw, to be released on Thursday, will allocate venues until Round 9 of the competition but will not allocate venues for matches in Round 10 and beyond.

Edit: Draw won't be updated in fantasy until around 48 hours later as posted in notice board

    FIXTURES
The updated fixtures for the new 20-round season will be made approximately 48 hours after the full fixture update is published by NRL.com. This should happen during the week commencing Monday, 18 May. Prior to this the NRL will release updated fixtures for Rounds 3 & 4. These will not appear on NRL Fantasy (i.e. Rounds 3&4 will still be the old fixtures) until the full new draw is ingested.

    Congrats RnT!

And to Welshy Re: Lucy as didn’t get to respond before thread locked. Make no mistake I’ll be draining that lemon dry. Only binning when BE gets up. Point was hes not a Final 17.

I have him ranked around 2RF 14. Like to think I can get a few above that the next weeks

Would love to see your list GM

Hard to separate players that are close so I use a tiers approach

    Tier 1: Taumalolo, Bateman
Tier 2: Trbojevic, Arrow, Matterson, Murray(lock), Tevaga, Crichton
    Tier 3: Carrigan(lock), Fisher-Harris, Fifita, Brown, Yeo(lock)

There is a definite gaps over those guys where pretty much everyone is similar. I'd put him on a tier with these guys including Nikora, Jackson, Harris, KBrom, McGuire, Frizell, Kikau, Garner, Finucane etc

I like the tiered approach! Since starting NFL seasons a few back I’ve been hooked and into ranking like they do. Even have a Twitter account for FPL doing matchups in NFL format. Think it has just become user friendly for me

    Tolo
    Turbo
    Bateman
    Fifita
    Arrow
    Matterson
    Brown
    Tevaga
    Crichton
Murray (much higher when goes to lock)

My top 10. Leilua for me is around people like Whitehead, JFH, Tohu, Friz and even then I’m not sure I like him above any of that range.

I struggle with players like Yeo. Even Bateman to lesser extent because he’s a beast.

Ie players that I’ve owned much cheaper and at centre, now forced to pay top dollar and backrow

He was someone i thought could return to big scoring this year. I think panthers will go well and he will be a big part of it.

I didnt mention him but realistically i wasnt ever gonna pick him

With the reduced format though im considering taking the punt... boom or bust
