That's what I meant, Smiths BE is 24 from memory but if he gets 50 for three to four he still only gets $100k.

Butcher might be a set for the season but also might be shunted when Liu comes back but Smith is definitely going back to his usual role in 3-4.

TLDR : Both are pretty risky

For what it's worth Isaac Liu hasn't started at Lock since Round 17 last year.

Liu is more of a straightforward bash and barge forward so I don't think he's too much of a risk to Butcher's spot speaking as a Chooks fan. The only real concern is if he gets good minutes.

Yeah I am. Worst case scenario he gets limited mins but is still a PPM beast so will still get a decent score

fuck this CS9 to halfback move makes me really want to buy the Cheese, deadset love the bloke. Most likely won't do it since he won't be a keeper when Munster returns, but fuck I just wanna do it, he's one of my top 3 favourite players in the NRL (alongside Papy and Grant)

But JWH isnt out, Radley is. Id be surprised if Butcher just gets Radleys minutes, its not really Robinsons style. Butcher has been left out of the 17 a couple times as well.

I think he gets around 50 mins, Robinson will just rotate the middles more.

Could actually be SST that gets the big mins.. even JWH. Both have proven they can do it

Really wanted Taupau, not real keen on Young but I needed to afford Ponga. My backline was way too weak.

8K left ITB, 13 trades left.

Nothing wrong with that plan mate. As far as the 4th one goes, I'd take the risk. Not much more left in Katoa and Butcher has the potential to put up big scores. Will all come down to minutes. 12 still leaves you a few in hand over the max traders.

In normal circs I don't think I'd bring in BS9/13, but am so far behind that I have to take risky flair picks. Trade-ins this week Murray, Johnson, Butcher, Smith. All good, solid surnames.
