Any way to play someone other than Burns? Due to come off the bench this week.Rapture_NRL wrote:

Well done guys some massive scores.
I was hoping for a bit more from Yeo but it wasn’t to be and a shame re Lucy.
Still I guess I’m doing reasonably with 12/776 with Ponga, Latrell, Pearce, Taupau and Murray to come.
Of course Luai has had 2 massive weeks since I sold him 2 weeks ago and of course Rudolf gets more mins and busts out a 46, so typical lol!

I’m going to BankWest Stadium tomorrow and am glad to be one of the 2000 Souths members to get in. Glad for the reciprocal rights deal.
I’ve heard BankWest is great for the footy so I’m really looking forward to it. Also got my ticket to our Friday night match v the Tigers next week.

I had a choice of reading EVERY page you people post ( at least 20 pages of absolute drivel per game )
OR
getting drunk and watching a couple of good movies !
Guess which one I chose ?

923 with Murray, Mitchell and Ponga on the pine. Which sounds pretty hood.
But I’m up at 5 ducking a.m. again with a pair of toddlers. So I’d take an easy 800 if I could wake at 7.
Too early to start drinking....

That thread sounds like a good idea. Was it too much work to maintain?

I remember a couple of weeks ago, when Luciano had another injury and from all reports it looked really serious. I didn't actually see it, but I heard an interview with the NRL Physio guy a few days afterwards and he pointed out how deceiving different player's reactions to injuries can be, and how we all have different pain thresholds. Apparently Lucy's reaction to the possible injury a few weeks ago was also quite dramatic and it didn't end up being much. Impossible to say without being on the receiving end, but I didn't think tonight's one looked as bad as others I've seen, even in this round alone. Not that I'd like to cop it, personally. But maybe the kid has a low pain threshold.
Like the NRL Physio guy pointed out, other guys will do serious and sometimes season ending injuries and you won't know at the time because they'll fight to continue playing and in some cases, will continue playing, with a very serious injury. Everyone's wired differently, and that includes pain thresholds and how individuals take certain levels of pain.
Anyway, I don't know anything about anything, but I thought it was a very valid discussion with very valid points.
And don't get me wrong, Leilua may have broken his jaw tonight and had every reason to be in distress, but then you'll get other guys that will finish a match with a broken jaw, or fractured eye socket. There's some madmen out there.
Sorry, not even sure what the actual point of this post is in the end...
You are trying to say that Luciano is a drama queen

Matt likes him because he bought him. He made two nice breaks and chose the wrong pass to kill try-scoring opportunities but that gave him a fantasy score in the 40s at half time. In the second half, the Sharks targeted his channel and walked in for four tries there. Proctor comes straight back in when fit, otherwise Cartwright shifts back into the pack.
Haha great analysis!
Scoring about 10 points in the second half is a red flag for me.
