981 pts and didn't crack top 9000 for the week.

By my count just over 100 players scored 1100 or more! What a round

Good work Welshy go get em !! 981 for me and dropped 5 spots to 10th, it's a tough game.

Sione adding to my woes, have a plan to turn him into Teddy but it's going to be tight depending on cash changes later today.

Knew the HIA risks but now hes got one I cant rely on him to see the season out I dont think.
Yeah it didn’t look too good on field. Has to have a serious look at career. George North for Wales has had 2 sickeners and already been told next one and he has to retire

I knew the risks going in, and he looked a good scoring option in centre, but now he has 1 this season its more likely the 2nd will come on easier if he gets back on the field at all.

Also on the subject of HIA's, I turned off the Broncos game for awhile and when I came back Isaac Luke played in the second half? He was out cold on the way down, how the fuck did they let him back on the field to finish off the game?

Yea I’m not a fan of some of the rulings with HIAs mate very dangerous territory. Nice to see someone owning their choices with the risks associated to certain players as well. Don’t often see that. Kudos

Haha cheers, in general I seem to go opposite picks of the forum in most spots anyway, not very often I get swayed from people on here though the one exception this year was Harry Grant early so thanks everybody!

Was seriously considering a Haas downgrade for Teddy upgrade next week (something like Hass + Fui to get outscored by FRF + Teddy) , but Sione may now be the scapegoat. By my calculations my new plan is going to be a few $$$ either way, the total points this round I think affects what I can plan properly for with BE's so have to wait and see what happens when the game opens. If that won't work then I'll look at Haas downgrade for 2 trades this week and a 2RF upgrade next week and then ride that for a few weeks I think.

Also know very well the risks of trading out the best player in the game but with his rests and everyone going gangbusters, and my 3 red dots (with Sione) I have limited other cash generation at the moment and there seems to be less value in Haas' 1 milly price tag if that can be spread around. Would spend all broncos games in a state of constant fear though (along with their fans......too soon?)

Massive risk that mate who would you captain with no Haas? I’d probably go Twal if you were downgrading Haas to get 215k if that’s enough?

If I can, looking at Yeo to Tauk and Sione to Teddy. If not, then Haas might go, and contribute to future upgrade of Fui (he is somehow now going to be in my 2RF this week!!)

Happy to play captain roulette with McInnes, Smith, Grant, Teddy depending on matchups. Not everyone's cup of tea, that's fine, I'll make my bed and sleep like a baby, and advocate for Haas for plenty of rest, he's only young

I think Haas - Twal and Sione - Teddy is more points but it’s a risk, a huge risk.

Trading Haas would be a make or break moment. Surely wouldn't be the wisest move would it mate?

What's this talk of selling Yeo? Surely we all have few enough trades that it's unthinkable?

One of my options to get Teddy, happy to make the tough calls, decided I can no longer death ride him. Not for everyone and that's fine Smile

edit: in my case its about my long term evaluations. Someone like Tauk + Teddy will outscore Yeo and Fui long term in my thinking, so + EV

Really annoying because I saw that and celebrated an early win, little did I know it would come to bite me hard in the ass.

Next serious post about trading Haas gets a ban imo Laughing Can't have newer players reading that shit and thinking it could be a good idea.

Only way trading an elite gun pays off, is if they get injured, but you can't predict that and there's as much chance your trade-in gets injured as the trade-out.

It's sideways at best and costs trades. When it also costs you points, you done fucked up.

Can't say it's surprising to see Haas mentioned though, I was joking with Revs about trading him a couple of weeks ago. Some experienced players traded out Cam Smith after his sinbin 20 and he wasn't even injured. Some of the same players traded out Taumalolo for a 1 game injury.

It's not "thinking outside the box" as some people try to paint it, it's tried and true methods being thrown out the window.
