Love Teddy as both a player and fantasy option, but don't think he is in the same hemisphere as Cook/Haas as scorers and that is where he will be priced

Grabbing him this week is the highest price he has ever been in his career. Last year he fluctuated between 685k and 885k. 2018 695k and 761k.

Teddy is about to drop the 94 and 111 out of his 5 game rolling average and his price will come tumbling back to earth. Simply by the nature of the position he is not going to average 67 come the end of the season

Only way trading an elite gun pays off, is if they get injured, but you can't predict that and there's as much chance your trade-in gets injured as the trade-out.

It's sideways at best and costs trades. When it also costs you points, you done fucked up.

Can't say it's surprising to see Haas mentioned though, I was joking with Revs about trading him a couple of weeks ago. Some experienced players traded out Cam Smith after his sinbin 20 and he wasn't even injured. Some of the same players traded out Taumalolo for a 1 game injury.

It's not "thinking outside the box" as some people try to paint it, it's tried and true methods being thrown out the window.

Someone wants to get rid of Haas with 2-3 weeks to go because they think someone can outscore him in the short term? That's a calculated gamble that could pay off. With 11 weeks to go, short of getting injured Haas is going to be putting 5-20 points a week on the next best option every single week. I'd sooner trade out someone like Mofo or Koroisau

It still amazes me the number of players getting hia's because they don't know the basics of tackling low. They get their head on the wrong side of the hip of the attacking player & these are supposed to be professional league players.

1078, 329th highest for the round

Went from 2700th to 1100th. Must've been some monster scores out there this round.

Best thing about the round is Mighty Fishes beating Mulvs in the mods league Very Happy

Agree mate, lot of the time the player slips and falls into the tackle and not their fault, but there’s a load where the tackler just has poor technique completely lacking in basics

Yeah I haven't moved it since Rd 1 Laughing This week I was tempted by Taumalolo, but the tried and true picking and sticking paid off Cool

Rather have newer players reading this shit and thinking bans should be handed out for creating fantasy discussions on a fantasy forum? yeah shit good one, what a pro.

Happy to keep my trades to myself, normally do, its dependent on what MY team looks like right now, where I think I can make improvements and where MY thoughts lie.

Final score for me was 998, still gained ranks (from 1047 to 954) but this was my chance to gain a lot more spots. Ponga and Mann absolutely ruined my score, other than those two I did pretty well.

I can finally hold at least one trade at least, potentially both depending on what happens with Averillo and HTF. If either one is out this week, I will sell. If both are out, then idk which one to sell first.

The trading Haas "discussion" would be like any other trade-an-elite-gun discussion and is pages of pointless crap that says everything I just said.

I thought you moved on to trading Yeo instead anyway?

Yeah I've never spent whole year picking and sticking b4, I enjoy the choosing weekly, but end of game that doesn't work, so this year decided to have a proper crack. First year I've been more head over heart, on purpose though.

I don't see a problem with people posting whatever trade ideas they have for their own team. If newbies/lurkers are swayed by this then that is their own problem. Its a game of fantasy, own your own team choices.

Only thing I don't like is opinions posted as though they are facts.

Since the Storm can't play in VIC, I am putting forward the idea for a double or triple header (mini magic round) at Suncorp in the coming month or so. Vlandys, I assume you're reading this, make it happen.

Would assist in saving the Broncos some embarrassment around crowd numbers. This weeks game verse the Dogs will be dire.

Dogs have a pretty decent fanbase in Brisbane though don't they? I'd think they'll draw a crowd just from away team support.
