Clune is probably peaked so I don't really see much wrong with that

Clune is losing more KM to Norman with Hunt starting on bench than when paired with Hunt in halves

Maybe if you could get a better cashout it'd be slightly more worth it, but I assume you're restricted in terms of funds

Yeah mate I’ve only got 50k before trades. I could bring in anybody bar McInnes if I traded out Papy as well as Lucy and just play Lomax as WFB(assuming Averillo I’d back) but I’d say that’s definitely a luxury trade

I think that's unlikely to continue with Soliola and Horse out, no? I think if he's starting lock he'll get 50+ unless the Raiders sign someone else.

Don't see how max trading is a bad thing when his team is set. Can probably make 0 trades this week and not blink an eye with all non-keepers still making money. Nothing wrong with Mann sitting at 16 for a while with his average and most teams aren't going to have enough coverage if injuries hit.

Actually might skip Sutton and save trades this week. Only other trade i'm considering is Katoa > Tevaga but even that can wait a week.

    11 trades | $202K ITB

    Koro
    Haas | Rudolf
    Yeo | Lolo | Young
    Cleary | Fog
    Latrell | Talau
    Paps | Teddy | Ponga

    Grant
    McCullough
    Carrigan
    Katoa (Tevaga)

    JTB
    S. Crighton
    Niu
    HTF

    Will turn JTB+Rudolf to Twal
    Fog > Moses/DCE.

Luxury trade McCullough > McInnes via Young maybe.

I guess if you want Sutton to make cash, this is the week to get him. In my case, I want a keeper, so I could wait a week for another look and he'll still be cheap if he looks the goods next week.

Raiders starting lock has played 50 minutes or less 4 times out of 8 games this year (2 of those Horsburgh played bang on 50 minutes)
Guaranteed more than 50 minutes would be nice.

if I didn't get Young last week, i'd probably be tempted by Sutton this week, but I don't think he's about to become an 80 minute uber-lock

Unrealistic expectations of trade-ins is one of the biggest problems for fantasy players - and you end up stuck with a bunch of emergencies that are dropped/benched/not making money

People trade in guys for a quick $150k cash and big profits. $50k and a red dot later and their team is stuffed, and they have to wait for Lone Scout to give them bonus trades to fix their team up

I don’t even think Sutton will be starting ? Won’t it be papa and tapine back in, unless Sutton starts prop ? But then he likely wouldn’t see the minutes everyone wants. Wait and see I guess

Papa will be one prop but theyre still down a couple. Tapine in the second row youd think with Young. Lui will no doubt be recalled

Tapine started from bench last week. Not sure whats going on there. There aren't many more fwds to share the minutes.

Sia, Guellr, Bateman and Horse out - Covered by Lui, Sutton, Young?? Not many else left.

    hahah

    @ChrisGarry7
Mind games at broncos this morning. Team is training in large groups and in same colour shirts. No in starters and reserves as usual.

to be honest things are going too bad to be playing mind games with the media... more likely to me that siebold realises there isn't much point training as normal, so is mixing things up.

I think it was more of a luxury that they just can’t afford to do now. Tapine and havilli sharing lock with Sutton into the prop rotation makes the most sense

Does Ricky go back to playing silly buggers and put Hogdson at lock for 20mins and bring Havili on? Although i don't know what that would achieve.

Possibly would’ve been stuffed last week without 4 trades?

Won't make enough cash from Hetherington, Niu, HTF, Averillo to do anything meaningful with Mann, Luai, Drinkwater and I personally think Flanagan is a tier below DCE, Moses, SJ. Won't be able to grab Cook either

If I had McInnes, Haas, Lolo, Cleary, Teddy and Ponga I would not care one iota that Cook was beyond my grasp.

Flanagan and Mann in 17 is not ideal final 17, but everyone will be making compromises and those compromises are better than many
Mann can be upgraded with out needing too much cash anyway, Flanagan too

Have you looked at the 18-21 of the other top 10 teams, Nobody has anything brimming with cash.

Don't think anyone has a good 18-21 at the moment. Too many cows popped up and then stalled immediately.

Be nice if HTF is back in the side this week but the Cows have the Roosters... maybe he should just sit this one out and come back in next week haha

I need to find some cash, the options out there are pretty grim.

If you want a keeper, don’t get him.

I think he’s more of a midrange cow - a 40-45ish player priced at low 30s, same as Young last week. Give you enough points to play in 17 and hope price rises can launch you to a legit keeper in 4-5 weeks.

yes, I'd be surprised if he is final 17 worthy.

With the extra trades there is space to get someone at that price - hope they rise a bit in cash over the next month or so and make it easier to transition to a keeper once they've made some cash.

    Sutton/Young/Butcher all in this category

Sutton could be a 70-80 minute man.

Keep an eye out for Kai O'Donnell - if Ricky thinks he's ready he may be a gun.
