My WAGs team has Staggs as Captain. I was tempted to chuck it on DCE against the Dragons. DCE would've bannered last week without the binning + the 10 minutes he would've had more chance to score.

Would you say Niu is a better trade-in than Fermor?
How much money do you think he'll make?

It's less about the money Niu makes and more about the fact he frees up the maximum funds to upgrade other players that aren't from the wasteland of the CTR position

If Niu is averaging around 30 and keeps position I see no reason to trade him out of CTRs (unless you got better CTRs by some freak of nature)

Anyone with an interest in more Rugby League content (especially our younger members) The Matty Johns Podcast this week on the Super League war is a good listen

I was only a youngster at the time so missed a lot of the going ons

Well atm my centres are Best and Latrell and my WFB's are Papenhuyzen, Teddy and HTF but I don't have and cover in either of the positions. Getting Niu means I have a backup centre and can play him at centre and switch Best/Latrell to WFB if one of the other 3 can't play.

I just don't know whether to get Fermor if he's named in the back row and take the risk of none of my backs getting injured/suspended or just play it safe with Niu

Thing is he had a free try but HTF intercepted it lol. Was so cut when HTF appeared randomly, didn't even know he was playing.

I'd definitely want to get HTF out of 17 if I had him and have cover

So sick of reading about centres.

Whoever said they're going to get Dean Whare might be onto something. Looks about 25k undervalued to me...

    I think you're right
I'll just get Niu even if Fermor plays in the backrow. Fermor could be gone in a couple weeks anyways and if he isn't then I can still buy him later if I need.

Yeah, it is good. Crazy times. Nathan Hindmarsh 1st game was against the Adelaide Rams.

I went with Croker a few weeks ago and haven't looked back. Don't ever have to worry about him getting dropped and he is too soft to get suspended

Oh 100%! I looked at him last week but i dont want to spend anymore trades on centres. Im hoping Crighton and Niu can carry me the rest of the year and Averillo gets his spot back

A couple players under the 400K mark at Centre that are pretty reliable and sitting around a 30 average and have a safe job are:

Roberts - 397K average 30.67 (when starting center). BE of 44 so could wait a week and will be slightly cheaper. Burns no longer lingering around and is a former proven gun.
Boyd - 378K averaging 27.4. Great JS. Will never be dropped.
Peachey - 366K averaging 28.8. Pretty Boom/Bust no matter if he is on the bench or starting. DPP 2RF/CTR.
Dugan - 399K averaging 27.2. Playing FB this weekend where he has a historical average of 44.6. Made of glass but in the last 3 years he seems to have improved. 2018 missed 12 games (not sure if he was in the Origin squad?), 2019 missed 3 and 2020 missed the first 2 games. 1.18% ownership.

Of all those guys that were thrown up to replace Capewell the winner seems to be Joseph Manu.

Nice average of 45 without a try

Dugan's fullback stats from 2014-2016 have me slightly interested. Bloke used to break tackles in bunches. Even I'm not game enough to risk the chance of injuries or Kennedy/Moylan taking the fullback spot

Moylan is fucked. Sad to say but his hammies are worse than Tommy T's... both of them. Kennedy healthy and no where near the top 21 at the moment. Surprised Macdonald hasn't gotten a sniff somewhere in the squad. I think if Dugan puts on a good showing he could see that spot his for a while.

Has Panthers, Warriors, Dragons, Broncos, Parra in the next 5. Am I talking myself into it?
