Now that Broncos are beyond their run of playing the other worst sides in the comp, im a little worried Niu's scoring will drop off with it..

Munster odds on to return for the game against us and break that record set against the Roosters

Wolfie its only a matter of time, the kids brave but I am holding the Bermuda Triangle of HTF, Talau and Williame like many others.

Campbell Graham (although it would annoy me to own a player who has a first name for a surname and a surname for a first name)
    Jared Croker
    Tesi Niu

Or just stick with Best? 15 trades left so not too worried on that front.

Niu then upgrade elsewhere with the bank

I heard in ricky stuarts press conference when asked about who will become hooker he mentioned he has a specialist hooker in tom starling? may play 60 mins and havili moves in when he gets a break?

Would seem unusual for them to rush him back when it is an ongoing issue.

I'm thinking of trading him to Hoffman. He looked good.

Vertigo I have Ponga as well and spent some time worrying whether he would play last round. That would of resulted in HTF's point
becoming valid for my team. Opposition coaches are either avoiding kicking to him or in the case of the Eels, trying to smash him
out of the game. Ponga avoided two out of a possible three HIA's last round. My trades this round are JTB to Havilli and Latrine to RTS
as cover for when Ponga goes down which is on the cards.

you just spooked me bro! only positive is if he goes down MOST people have him also.

It feels like there are suddenly loads of value options to improve my squad on first glance, but they are all traps IMO on second look...

    On a 1-10 trap scale:

Havili - 8. You're either buying an expensive cow to sell later, who is only really worth it if he averages 45+, or an 18th/19th man. I already did that with Hudson Young 2 weeks ago and it sucks. I'm a hard pass with my # trades

Brown - 9. Won't play 80 when Paulo is fit. Suspension imminent. Can still average 55, but also has 35-40pt games where he plays 50 minutes in him. I'm still seriously considering it.

BHunt - 7. That was kinda the perfect game for him. Still likely to average 50-55 in the long-run if role continues - and I don't see why it wouldn't - in which case at his price he's a perfectly acceptable HLF2. Future DPP is worthless though. And other HLFs are going to be cheap soon

Anyone who was keeping an eye on Jazz would be giving him another week with a 66 BE right?

I really don't see Hunt as a huge trap based on other gun HLF's being cheap soon too.

It's a tricky year, funds are limited and he's a value buy in a position I already have another gun HLF.

I'm happy not everyone is convinced about him though. Means he might not be a mass trade in after all.

Bunt is probably going to be the best HLF2 if you can't afford the 2 premium halves. At $650k, 80 min in the middle, his floor is going to give safe HLF2 scores. For comparison, SJ, ARey, Williams have floors in the 30s. Bunt at hooker will at least give you safe scores

Congrats on the big scores around here for the last round. Looking like Fanatics going to be majority population in the winners circle cheer

953 for me. Dudded by the missed TBs etc but can't really stress about it. Made my way up to 3952 from 4631 (rd 3 26k) so happy with progress Smile

JTB to RTS only trade this week unless Friend doesn't play. Bit concerning that Lam played so well for him though - might finally have to upgrade him :/

    Grant
    Haas Carrigan
    Tolo Yeo Katoa*
    Pearce Flano
    Crichton Niu
    Teddy RTS Papy

    Friend McInnes Api Field
    Spry Tonumaipea Talau HTF

    $74k 10 Trades

Field my only real cash generator though. Hard times

    Hey fellas,
Been thinking of trading out rudolf and brailey for a while, but their recent run of scores led to me keeping them up to this point.

Does brailey and rudolf -> hunt and Havili seem like a good move? Cheers

Might just leave Ponga for now and get in Edwards as wfb3 next to Teddy and Papi.

Latrell/Talau out screws me so I need to get either a wfb or ctr this week and Edwards is cheap with a great draw for the Panthers

Hopefully the gap closes between Papi and Ponga in a few weeks to upgrade then, unless Papi keeps scoring well

Really between RTS/Edwards right now but Edwards in a better team, better draw, lower price, lower ownership has me leaning towards him

Also keen on Hunt but may just wait to see if he continues, as well as waiting on Moses/Munster dropping in price soon as well

Just 89 needed from Paps vs. Titans this week to bump his average from 45 to 50 for the season Cool

Not counting on it, but where's that bloke to captain him again?

Titans, Broncos, Knights and Dogs next 4, so I rate him a pretty good chance of getting there soon.
