Bold to go off a guy with a season average of 70, 3 round average of 67, a season low of 52 and not a single try, try assist, line break or line break assist this year

Agree, happy to go with bold, trying to bring my rank in from 1,000 currently. Haas is 99%+ owned and heavily captained every week. If anything happens to him, I have a chance to pick up 120 points vs most players ahead of me.multiple.scoregasms wrote:Bold to go off a guy with a season average of 70, 3 round average of 67, a season low of 52 and not a single try, try assist, line break or line break assist this year

With Latrell, Campbell and Burns out for Souths talk is Steven Marsters or Jaxson Paulo could debut.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bennett go with the safety first choice though and that’d be to move Bayley Sironen to left centre.

With Niu leaving early the Broncos side is a mess. As far as I could tell Lodge (out), Staggs (out), Fifita (out), Farnworth (unlikely), Coates (in doubt), Niu (maybe in doubt?), Walsh (on standby). #NRL

Kenner trained right centre, Isaako left wing, Te'o to start left edge.

Should be interesting for rank across the weekend
I love it when this happens! You have hope of gaining ranks till the end of the Round.
Nothing more demoralising then being first few games heavy and cruising up the ranks knowing full well you are going to be in reverse the rest of the weekend.

I didn't really do anything bold, and had above average week and went from 1143 to 276 in 1 week
You just need a bit of luck to go your way to have above average score to fly up rankings, because they are quite close
That said, Haas out is an okay option, but you obviously have to face the risk of it backfiring

I don't really care for selling Kapow and Young. As someone else suggested you could get RTS instead and move Lomax to centre.
Wouldn’t sell both of them but at least one of them regardless of whether I bring in Hunt,RTS etc

Kotoni Staggs to miss another week.
Rhys Walsh could make his debut. He’s training on the right wing for Broncos. Very talented 18-year-old.
Just catching up on the thread, he’s a very talented fb out of keebra park, got picked at fb over hamiso for Aus schoolboys

FWIW, some non-Haas captaincies have paid off, just not by much usually. Did Grant over Haas once for a net gain of 2 points. A Taumalolo Captain for a net 7 points. And Teddy last week for 19 points. A lot of risk considering the miss could've been in the week where Grant scored 59 and Haas 83... The point of the safe captaincy is net you most points over the season, not week to week. Going long vs day trading

I was surprised Sironen played middle last week when Graham went off for HIA. They seem short of backs that they trust to do the job. As soon as Burns went down, they reverted to a 4 forward bench, rather than bringing a guy like Allan in.Rabbits21 wrote:With Latrell, Campbell and Burns out for Souths talk is Steven Marsters or Jaxson Paulo could debut.

Priced at 71 too, not like he's overpriced. I was happy to sell Best for 600k knowing he was overpriced, looking to do the same with Scrichton potentially.
I get what Matt is doing though. It's the same as when I sold Lolo to get two guns for the price of one which ultimately saves a trade because you don't need to do a cash out to generate funds for the second gun. I did it though with the potential of him missing two games. Not sure I'd do it with a fit guy who is still likely to be the games' best scorer.

I know but just feels like a good time to take a different option. If not this week I'm definitely C'ing Teddy against the Titans and the Warriors.
Grant is up against a Broncos team ravaged by injury, I think he can shred them to pieces.

You are in a different situation, cruising with big scores each week. I'm taking a shot to try to catch up, may work or may not, just giving myself the chance of a big windfall.Revraiser wrote:

Tigers should destroy the Broncs this week.

there might be a reason the Broncos first two weeks were our best, because since then, it's easy to say the Broncos are bad (and make no bones about it, we have been), but with basically the entire team being a revolving door of injured and suspended players coming and going every couple weeks, along with Seibold moving blokes around trying to spark something, is it any wonder we haven't built any chemistry in our shapes and formations when those guys look besides them and see a new bloke there every week?
