With Titans, Warriors, Dragons back to back we will see Keary, Flanagan, Tauk, Crichton, Manu and probably Teddy rested at different points

I think I need to abandon Havili. Luai --> a base price should allow me to get another gun sooner instead of waiting for Havili to peak... Decisions decisions

Feel like Flanagan is less likely to be rested as their only back up GK is SST (who usually won't play 80 mins)

Teddy has had 2 games off recently as well.Camo123 wrote:

Upvote for Ponga, Downvote for D. Edwards.
The obvious choice is Ponga, although Edwards & the Panthers have a very enticing run home, playing only 3 of the current top 8 teams in the final 10 games (Eels, Tigers & Raiders) - With the only current standout side being the Eels.
And with trades being limited, and potential for upgrades in other positions, that 140k spare from Ponga-Edwards is really intriguing.
Ponga proven fantasy gun, although Edwards looks to be the goods, especially with Penrith firing this season.
My backs would turn out to be:
S. Crichton / Niu or Talau
Paps / Teddy / Ponga or Edwards
Thoughts would be appreciated.
RTS or Thompson other options. I reckon Thompson matches Edwards long term and is cheaper. RTS is going to be the try scorer for the Warriors now with no Fus or Maumalo after this week

Would likely be replaced by Hutchinson who has kicked(1 goal) for the Roosters before

The ones I would be concerned about are SST and JWH who won't come back on for a 2nd stint, play 30 minutes for 30 points.multiple.scoregasms wrote:I'd be concerned about owning any Roosters players. I expect most of the fantasy relevant guys will get rotated in the next few weeks.

JWH has had that happened twice now. SST would be next.

In which they lost the game (1/2 conversions)
Can't get too cocky mate, you're way down in 4th

hey guys, I just updated my team tracker. I would really appreciate any advice. After playing 14 in that disaster week with all the injuries I've made it my goal to try and finish in the top 1k from dropping to nearly 10k. At a bit of a crossroads.
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

Can't get too cocky mate, you're only 3rd
Robinson won't be too concerned about ladder position, only that the Roosters make the finals and everyone is fit
Best way to do that is resting players in the "easier" games
Rugby League isn't played on paper so that could still mean some losses, but worth the risk

The way I see it, that could help Butcher in the short term (month or so). He hasnt played a whole lot of mins yet this season and coach may want to put mins in his legs (while giving key guys like JWH and SST the odd rest)

In my opinion robbo isn't going to rest players en masse until our position in the top 4 is absolutely solidified. We are still pushing for the #1 spot. Of course if players are injured or concussed I think robbo will sit them out longer than usual which is typical of him, but I can't see us fielding a 2nd grade team when we are already blooding the next gen in 1st grade after our injuries.
Just my opinion though, and the next 3 matchups do look like games Robbo could rest players in. if I owned SST I'd be scared of his and JWH's minutes reversing. JWH has only played 30 mins twice in a row now.

Would expect Butcher, Liu, Tupouniua and Collins to be the main beneficiaries of resting

Issue for me is I only have 9k spare so if he drops to much cash and say scores 20 at centre then I won’t be able to afford him to much at all.Rapture_NRL wrote:
More concerning is him not playing 80 or worse, playing CTR. He would've still scored well playing 80 last week. I'm giving one more week and if he scores sub-50 I'll flick him to Crichton or Brown

Are any other Young owners concerned about him like me?

Fair. I think if you're averse to that outcome pull the trigger to someone cheaper on the way up

Playing the role I wanted to and scoring in the range I expected. Would I like him to be scoring 50 and making cash quicker? Absolutely. Will I rage trade him out for scoring within expectations? No chance
