Community team likes Sironen, but they can't afford Fermor

Who do we think has better cash generation, and who will provide better emergency scores  in case they can't be traded out.

I think Sironen has better job security. Fermor might hang around, but don't want to bet a trade in him retaining his spot when Proctor returns

Fermo re-signed with the club until 2023, I think he will be in and around the team for a while. Sironen probably locked into that first bench role

I went with Fermor last week, not sure I'd trade him in now

No one looking at Lolo for Captain? The cows current bench is horrendous and Api/Yeo don't mind missing a few tackles.

I am the same. I grabbed him with the hopes he would have the 2RF spot this week, which he does. Now I am just hoping he keeps it over Hipgrave. With the Fifita news to come soon maybe Titans will start giving him minutes (if Fifita falls through) as their future second rower.

Kinda keen on Sironen if he can keep that 40 minute role of the bench.

Just don’t know if Paix > Sironen is a worthwhile trade with 10 left.

Thinking of keeping the faith in Hamiso. Just needs 1 or 2 big scores to make some cash. With the FB spot his for the next 2 months they should come.

While my other cows around him are making money I think I can afford to hold until he grabs the big score. A WFB under 300K playing FB with good job security. Would normally be all over it.

I’ll hold Embarassed (while closing my eyes every time he plays)

I am trading Young to Sironen (or Fermor) because I need the cash to bring in Angus this week.

I don't think Paix has much use left. If you keep him this week, he's either there for the long haul, or you are hoping for a late season base price cow to appear

I mean I could do Butcher > Sironen to get the cash for Leilua > Crichton.
I just don’t wanna get rid of Butcher and would prefer to wait for a base price cow.

Oh nope can’t do that so will probably hold trades

Hoping Young pulls his finger out tonight. With Raiders down on troops I hope they put up a good fight for the GF Rematch. I don't mind Raiders at the line (+12). Little bit of precipitation hanging around and Sydney expecting some rain tomorrow so might be a little dewy.

I also think Teddy $2 any time is a steal.

Isn't Sironen like SMacintyre in that he should have ok bench minutes and would be most likely to fill in if a starting 2rf goes down or is dropped? Advantage for SMac is he has DPP.

I could upgrade Butcher to the likes of Angus or Lolo but if Butcher is only out one week then I think I'd rather hold. Twal would be my preferred trade in when the time comes.

Considering just going Best to Sironen or SMac to bank some cash, but will probably have to play them in my 17 with Butcher out

Smac in a Tigers squad with Twal to return and a few players on a turnstile in that bench. JS a bit risky + everyone probably has a handful of CTRs Beer

Siro probably has a more concrete spot on the bench.

EDIT: A few losses and guys like McQueen/Lawrence may become relevant in that Tigers squad.

    Cameron Smith 3.69

    Kalyn Ponga 1.49
    Daly Cherry-Evans 1.31
    Mitchell Moses 1.12
    Ryan Matterson 1.09

This is really interesting, thanks for putting these up (along with the 100 other things we should be thanking you for!)
I've got Haas, Lolo, Grant, Cleary and Harris I'd consider putting the armband on. Was thinking Harris but thinking with Tevaga potentially taking the lock role from him it might be a bit of a risk considering his average is only 61 compared to the others who are around 70. Might go Cleary!

PS. We've changed the structure up now so we've got a weekly stats article (https://sporttechdaily.com/our-insights/your-edge-round-10/) & a weekend preview article (https://sporttechdaily.com/our-insights/nrl-round-10-preview/). Will put the link to the DFS & first try scorer betting preview in the DFS thread.

Best of luck for the weekend!

    Hold the phone.

Who stops Dunamis Lui playing 60 minutes for the rest of the year? Soliola, Guler and Horsburgh out

Historical average when getting extra minutes isn’t great though
Although his PPM this year is 0.9 so it’s encouraging

It's at the SCG it's built to drain water and much bigger for airflow to dry it out, might not have as a big of an effect as other grounds.

He's only played 60+ three times in his career. Top is 62 minutes. I would guess lifting his minutes from 20-30s to 40-50s is his limit. Everyone in the Raiders except Papa is a trap IMO. Including Young who I own :/
