1071 for the week. Up to 612 from 969.

I am not a Cleary owner though and that frightens me.

Only to be able to free up 300k to use in other areas. There’s not a lot of difference between a 550k CTR and a 250k CTR scoringwise, they will have good days and bad.

It probably won’t happen but nice to have the option

The stronger sides are absolutely plowing through the middle of the weaker teams, im expecting the appearance of a few tackle bots on a few benches eg peats etc

I know it's way early but would anyone actually be prepared to play Niu against the Storm? My only other option is McIntyre but that match-up just has Melbourne by 50+ written all over it with a single digit score from Niu too.

I think Pearce has a bung knee and has hit a bit of a scoring lull (not terrible but probably not shooting the lights out anytime soon)

Hadn't considered dumping Pearce, but he is my 3rd HLF. If price rises are kind I could possibly straight swap him to Cook. Would mean keeping Luai and Joliffe in my side long term though.

Nah I don't reckon mate. He's always got some attacking stats in him, doesn't help that the team is a basket-case, but he'll keep trying.

Only reason I've avoided him is the injury history, but if I had him I'd be holding.

Cheers. They did seem to get a fair thrashing today and they’ll need him heaps more when the next lot of players leave

I’m avoiding it, I’d much rather Talau against the Eels

He's averaging 60 since being starting hooker.

If you sub every player after they get a low score, you'll run out of trades very quickly.

Lots sold (or thought about selling) Yeo and he's just gone back to 60+

    Definitely understand this.

But getting Hunt and 40k in change is pretty hard to argue with.

I mean, he hit 53 with turnstile defence so he's not horrible fantasy wise, but he's in the awkward price bracket that he could be used to upgrade.

The average when starting is with 80 minutes though. Today he only played 51 and it seemed to benefit the cowboys side. If he plays 80 every week hes 100% a keeper but at his price tag 50 mins isn't good enough unfortunately

To my mind there’s a bit of a difference between Yeo bottoming out at 46 in game with a point per minute scored versus Robson looking like a 50 min hooker going forward. That 60 average becomes 38. Why I was asking for some context from watching the game about his role going forward. Would still be guesswork but a bit more useful than being reminded of his 80-min scoring average and that trades are finite.

I've got 271k ITB, and I'd say that I'm happy with 15/17. I don't have much going on in the 17-21 cash generation wise so I probably have to make the call on spending the bank on 1 player to get a solid 16, or across 2 players.

    Current team:

    Koro,
    Haas, Carrigan
    Lolo, Brown, Lucy
    Cleary, Hunt
    Lomax, Crichton
    Teddy, Ponga, Pappy

    Grant, Pearce, Joliffe, Luai
    Averillo, Niu, HTF, KOD.

He still averages about 54 taking out the -1 game. So upgrade would have to be significant. I’d say his price is still value rather than awkward IMO

You're probably right.  Having Mann and Ponga as 5th play options too hurts him a little though IMO.  I also just hate watching him when he's defending lol.

You may be in trouble if Angus is out and Moses is back.
