Yeah my dad is 90 & he lost his drivers license about 4-5 years ago so basically the same age as your dad when he lost it. To keep his license he had to do these puzzle number tests & he couldn't do them so he lost his license.

I remember when my Grandma went for a drivers licence renewal eyesight test and failed it and convinced the person at the testing to pass her anyway as she told them she only drives once a fortnight around the corner to do her shopping. Unbelievable.

We ended up selling her car pretty much against her will so she was off the road.

She would've turned 99 last Friday. Passed away 10 years ago now. Seems like forever ago.

Always after. Wednesday after Rd 6 games last DPP update

    Lone Scout Rd 6 Q and A

"Players who have been playing in a new position and are expected to remain in that position will become dual-position players after round 6 (with updates to kick in next Wednesday), with another bunch of DPP updates arriving after round 12."

Watch Young put up a 60 against the bunnies.

Feel like I am missing out on Hunt though

Yeah, I'm looking at holding Young for now, I need the 2RF cover until I have enough cash for another 2RF gun.
I expect him to punch out another 40+ points at some stage the next few weeks.... 60 against the bunnies sounds good to me.

I have Lucy filling in for Angus and Butcher as backup at the moment. Plus bringing Siro in for further back up, so Young isn't desperately needed and sironen should theoretically make cash. I am taking a gamble on Asi as well as my last cow. Any other cow being brought in from now on pretty much is staying in my team forever.

Just can't take them for granted hey, my parents are both still around and perfectly sound albeit at age 70. I'll miss simple things like a beer with Dad, or a random chat with mum.

JUST PUTTING MY THOUGHTS DOWN IN WRITING

I count 14 keepers in my team. Means that I have 7 players that are on the trading block. With only 10 trades left and 3 more keepers till I reach my "final 17". I estimate I will only need 5 trades to get there.

    with 292K itb Lucy > Twal or similar FRF gun should be almost a straight swap. Then in descending order based on current price, my other trade outs are;
    S.Crichton
    Luai
    Fermor
    Farnworth
    HTF
    Sironen
    Asi

Out of those 7 I think either one of Crichton or Farnworth need to stick around to partner Lomax. I also need to turn one of this into Tedesco and then one more viable 17th man (Hunt?).

Let’s say it’ll cost about 50K to turn Lucy into Twal in a couple weeks time. That leaves me 242K. I will probably need to cash out someone like Fermor by then and upgrade Luai to Teddy.

Then HTF will probably be a cash out and one of S.Crichton/Farnworth can become my 17th man (no clue who that will be).

Would leave 5 trades and only Asi as CTR coverage and one of Scritta/Farnworth + Lomax in my centres as WFB coverage. Possibly if Sironen makes enough coin I can use a trade on him as I will have Butcher and Carrigan as 2RF/FRF coverage.

12 trades left. Trading in a gun this week for Fogarty + Luai/Young. HTF in 17 assumes Niu is out. Would you rather:

    a) Fogarty, Young OUT. Twal + Starling in. Twal + HTF + Luai in 17. 28K bank.

    b) Fogarty, Luai OUT. Hunt + Starling/Siro in. Hunt + HTF + Young in 17. 140K bank.

    c) Fogarty, Luai OUT. Ponga + Starling/Siro in. Ponga + Starling/Siro + Young in 17. 121k bank. No halves cover for a week (either Wiliame to Dearden or Friend to Hunt next week).

    Leaning towards C I think.

Tempted to take a captain gamble this week. I haven't taken it off Haas all year.
Matterson: Against his old team after a week off and will want to rip in. Eels with their troops back!!
Lolo: Loves a battle against the Eagles pack. Historical average of 81 against them.
Cleary: Against the Titans.. could be the Cleary show again
DCE: Against the Cows who just lost their coach and could be in even more shambles.
Ponga: Found some form again last week and could be in for a big day on a dry sunday afternoon track against the Dogs in the hunter.
Papenhuyzen: Big Gamble but the Broncos have holes everywhere!
    Tedesco: Non Owner!

I'm probably playing McIntyre for the foreseeable future in my CTR's. Hey it's not so bad, he once got knocked out after 7 minutes and he still scored more than what Best once scored in 80 minutes.
