Fogarty out - B. Sironen in (if he doesn't start then Starling)
Niu out - D. Asi in (I own Talau as well but apparently R. Jennings is nearly fit so Talau could lose his spot)

That will give me 252k bank but not liking having to address my injuries & not being able to buy some guns.

I'm thinking double cow could be a good play this week too.

AS I ONCE AGAIN NEED A CTR, I'm pretty tempted by Aubbs, but obviously problem is he ~probably~ won't start when Crichton is back, so in a few weeks time I will need to find a ctr again....

Mentioned yesterday but there is a bit of a temption to grab Waga Blake and see if I can ride some good scores.

If I was trading in another centre I would want someone that won't get dropped, that also has a solid base and upside for attacking stats

I also wouldn't want to spend more than ~430k

Bryson Goodwin, Moses Suli, Jarrod Croker, Tim Lafai, Esan Marsters, Waqa Blake, Peta Hiku, Brad Parker probably the option in that category. Blake, Croker and Suli probably the best chance at attacking stats because they are in better teams

Holy shite Aubs only 330k. It certainly makes him attractive as a buy but how many games will he get & is he worth it for maybe 3-6 games & then having to use a trade to get rid of him.

After I wrote this I realised I'm tempted to buy D. Asi & it's the same scenario as Aubs. Asi could be gone when Morgan & Drinkwater return. Also the Cowboys are shite & that game against the Panthers was an anomaly when you consider how they've played the last month & if they have an off day then Asi could have an off day as well.

I think there has been a bit of a split between the players and coaching staff for a while, maybe they get their shit together now? How often do we see a team lose a coach and then come out and perform.

Asi seems to have a solid base. Will get plenty of traffic in defense due to his size but made 18 tackles with only 2 missed. Had a bigger share of the kicking than Drinkwater normally does. Will always have some decent run metres due to his play style. I don't think he will truly put up a stinker while starting half with his floor probably around 25 points

Problem with Asi, like any young kid, he may not keep his spot in the team when the troops return.

Maybe he ends up at left centre for a while though.

Apparently the Q'land govt have given clearance to Manly to allow AFB to cross the border even though he hasn't had the flu shot so he will play against the Cowboys.

You could be right if he's in form then he could keep his starting spot. Also re fantasy a ctr playing in the halves means good points until he potentially gets moved to ctr. For my team Niu is gone & Talau could be gone with R. Jennings nearing full fitness plus if the Broncos game is any indication then he will get starved of any ball.

was always such a weird stand to take given its not a requirement for literally anyone else.

I'm happy to get him into the team, hopefully Herbie gets DPP after round 12, then I'll have one of Asi, Niu and Herbie to play next to Lomax

Yeah, I'm sweating on Herbie getting DPP. Hopefully if he's playing on the wing now that doesn't mean he doesn't get it.

I find it ironic that 3 rounds ago I traded L. Leilua to A. Crichton partly for injury concerns/missing games re L. Leilua & it's Angus who gets injured & is out lol.

Same reason for Lucy all the injured but plays or injured in training ground but ok etc. If I'd pulled the trigger on Rudolf>Fermor when we got 4 trades I may well have kept Lucy but such is life

Yeah big time and I think most are over that, the promotional aspect from him.

Hows the old man @White lightning ?

He's good atm but he's gradually declining with his mind & the time is probably near where he has to go into a dementia rest home. Cheers.

My Dad is 84 in September. We go for beer at pub every Saturday afternoon. The other day he asked me a question about why friends that usually join us weren't there then 2 minutes later asked exact same question. Mum said she's not sure if Dr will ok his driving licence next assessment. I said he absolutely should not

With 2 games off the bench, 2 on the wing and 4 at centre so far this year surely he gets it. Pretty sure a couple of those games at CTR wasn't covering injury but more based on merit.

Considering Bullemor got for 1 start at 2RF in Rd 4 would be a joke if didn't

    Young + Niu OUT
    Asi + Sironen IN + 292K (10 Trades)

Watch Young put up a 60 against the bunnies.

Feel like I am missing out on Hunt though
