    Smith 870k
    - The real budget option
    - Doesn't make as many tackles but gets his points from goal kicks and play making, so scores better in big wins
    - Doesn't have the ceiling of the other two but a safe option and saves on $

    Cook 936k
    - Averaging 74 since the season restart
    - High ceiling with great attacking stats and still makes 50 odd tackles a game
    - Most expensive

    McInnes 924k
    - Likely to get DPP 2RF which is useful
    - Scores dip a bit when playing at lock but still plays 80min and gets through a lot of work
    - Would be an obvious choice if at hooker for the rest of the year

If money is no object I’d say Cook scores the most points in the run home.

McInnes has had a few starts at lock and is set to be the Dragons’ first-choice lock in the run home so he’s likely to get DPP regardless of where he’s named this week (there hasn’t been a strict 4-game requirement for DPP in the last couple of years).
that should mean Hunt gets DPP as well

Not Smith. If Storm secure a Top 4 position with weeks to go, he'll probably get rested a bit.

I'd say McInnes DPP status could make him very valuable as the late season carnage hits.

I want Hunt as HOK DPP.

With injuries to Koro and Macca, I'm down to just Grant. Owning DCE and Cleary I have the HLF's covered so Hunt able to slot in for Grant would be invaluable to my team.

His DPP will actually be useful (but not the reason to buy him) with a fair few HOKs going down and losing relevance (Koroisau, Robson for me, McCullough for others)

It's now really having one of big 3 (CS9, McInnes, Cook) and Grant on bench or using Hunt/Tevaga HOK DPP for cover

    yeah pretty much.

I've got Grant starting HOK, Tevaga in 2RF and Mann on the bench that I can cover with, though this week I'm also buying in Starling for a bit more depth

Coin flip between McInnes and Cook. DPP would be very good and his lock scores aren't too bad either. Need to decide by Thursday as they'll be playing against each other then haha

Do you actually need the 2RF cover?

I'm likely getting McInnes because my 2RF is weak but if I didn't have that concern I'd go Cook and not worry about DPP

Not sure on Rudolf, he's getting named at lock on TLT but not actually starting there on gameday. Also Staines no chance, played his debut on wing and is WFB

Don't need it right now - 2rfs are Lolo, Carrigan, Yeo, Young (to be upgraded to a gun 2rf anyway), Aubo, Fermor (if he's named)

Knowing my luck they'll all get injured and then I'll wish I picked McInnes Razz

Edit: or McInnes could just be that 'gun 2rf' that was meant for the Young upgrade... and I can get someone else for Young. Although am also very keen on Matto once he drops closer to 700k. More to mull over

I would love some definitive Ramien news. Looks like I'll have to wait until game time to decide if I need another centre. Aubbo is looking pretty tasty tbh...
