Mannering is fine for a 60 but that's all,
Captains should have a high ceiling, every so often bust out an 80-100 game, while still being relied on for the 55-65 min score.
I just don't see mannering getting the high scores.
He scored 1 try last year, surely that shows that he can go higher than the almost 60 guaranteed points he provided last year
Not really, it just shows he's not a try scorer. He's also not one of those players who can score the solid 60 and then have that one big play that nets them 15-20 points

Tell me there is a world where Merrin, Cartwright can co exist with Taylor to forum an ultra gun fantasy backrow trio?

Well the 2 years prior he scored 4 tries in 13' and 9 tries in 14' so would of thought last year was the exception, although his move to the middle was more likely the reason
can't see the problem i him not being an explosive scorer i would take 60 points every day of the week from a captain, anyone expecting more is getting lucky with a try

Iam very close to running Merrin and Carty, Taylor will always get his tackles so scores should stay the same just need the extra minutes from Carty. hopefully Peachy takes Taylors minutes
I guess it will be a Graham, Gallen and Fifita thing

No one mentioning Snowden, can't extract his minutes from Miclhys sheet but discounting his score of 10 in R21 when he was likely injured from R18-R26 his avg was 62!!! Can anyone confirm if he minutes went up in this period? he did score 2 meat pies in these rounds which inflated his avg here

I think he's a really good option this year but most of us already have Rochow & Tapine so 3 Knights is a risk.

Discounting the 10 i mentioned, His season low scores were 36, 42, 43, 42 so pretty low risk as well and can go high 77 with no try!
I think i could handle Rochow and Snowden, Surely Snowden gets the extra prop minutes with the interchange rules @Honeysett ?

I was reading some Eels forum last night & someone mentioned this player called Ulesi & he said he was a chance of making the 17 this year. Does anyone know who he is & what position he plays cause he's not on nrl fantasy.

That try was in 1 of only 2 games when he started at 2nd row as well. If he stays at Lock, he is a solid Captain choice. If he is moved wider, his base stats go down a bit again, but with the increased chance of a few meat pies. Solid C at Lock.

Cheers PB a good read. Interesting to note that while Segeyaro was becoming an Australian citizen & swearing allegiance Pearce was out getting trashed & engaging in beastiality

All evens up over the season which is why i don't really understand the Mannering captain debate, nothing wrong with a solid 60 every week, if you are sticking with the same captain week in week out and want that huge captain score, then you are also going to get the 35/40s during the season which can kill you as much as 80 catain score propels you victory

Hard to say mate, new coach and pauli pauli bow in the side. You would think he remains our key forward but if K Sims keeps getting better who knows

Agreed, like Captaining halves like SJ and JT for the entire season, it all evens out. I think the argument but is that your very rare almost perfect Captain choices are a level above again. By that I am thinking Smith and Farah ala 2014. SO some MASSIVE scores in there but very rare they ever dipped below 60 either.

Any idea if he was getting close to 60 minutes last year mate? Some half decent additions this year, surely you must be feeling good about lifting into the top 10,I hope Mullen stays fit for you pal, think Trent helps him get back to being that dangerous runner he was a few years back
