Six of my originals remaining (Mann, Haas, Carrigan, Wiliame, Lomax & Papy) but did trade out Api and Brailey just last week

Who would you be trading out to get that 900K player?

I've got 7 starters, and 1 NPR (Haas, Carrigan, Cleary, Taumalolo, Lomax, Papy, Leilua, & Wiliame).

I've also got Aubbs again, who I started with, but not counting him in my 7.

Pre-trades I still have Friend, Haas, Moses, Lomax, Pap, Carrigan, Luai.

Friend on the chopping block this week.

@Mulvy, re the Niu to Randall chat before I am looking at it as well despite limited trades (5)

Looking at schedule of loop for CTRs that I use Niu for and I would only be able to loop Talau/Averillo 3 times for rest of season as Niu usually locks out before them on Friday. Might depend on what you use Niu for

Koro was on that list but only got traded out last week due to injury.

I wouldn't have jumped on a $900k player this week if it wasn't for Macca's season ender.
It may turn out for the better. Some of the 900k players seem to be a bit of a POD in the top 500

    Cook -172 owners
    CM9 - 135 owners
    Cleary - 477 owners
    Haas - 496 owners

    players just under $900k
    CS9 - 71 owners
    Teddy - 435 owners
    Bateman - 0 owners

Currently looking at Friend & Young to Randall & Tevaga + 248K to upgrade Luai to Munster next week and Fog to a keeper soon.

Or I could say fuck it and spend that bank on Friend & Young to Randall & CM9 right now...

Surely the first option is the smarter long-term play, right?

Young, SChricton, Siro, Mann someone like that (Siro and Young are in 18 & 19 at the moment). All of those guys are worth persisting with in the short term to make the $ gap shrink.

Young potentially. Mann I would keep if I still had him. Regret trading him out. Crichton is a centre keeper.

Can also lock Niu into CTR and then move Talau/Averillo around in positions 19/20/21 to take a look at scores

Niu is only red dot (at the moment) so wouldn't be able to do it. Having 21 fit players with limited trades would probably be good thing

You can if the other 19/20/21 player locks late.

e.g. this week start Niu at CTR
Talau at 20, Averillo at 21. If Talau sucks, to move Averillo up to 19, you just need someone in your NPR that plays after the Tigers, who are Friday 6pm this week.

Can still make it work with 20 green dots

    Niu at centre

    19 - Talau
    20 - Averillo (plays first)
    21 - Hammer

Niu locks out at centre but you can still swap Talau and Hammer depending on Averillo's score. If you are happy with Averillo swap them since Hammer can't sub into centre. If you are not happy with Averillo roll the dice on Talau

Yeah, Young is my preferred option to trade out but I suspect he has a few more weeks of price rises.

I actually want HTF to get another $100k in rises so I can trade him to Teddy in 1, seems realistic right? Very Happy
