Randall or Sironen. Think I read somewhere that Mann would go into the halves at some point - if that's the case Randall might only get 50-60 mins so Sironen would be my pick.

In most situations I would take 60 minutes of high workrate hooker over 80 minutes of rookie edge player.

We'll see what Bayley does tonight before deciding

Absolutely love seeing this. With the Roosters having a few players out, I'm hoping they'll rely more on Teddy. I've got Haas, Teddy, Lolo, Cleary and Grant as serious considerations.

Considering my rank is 2800 atm, I'm going to try to go with my gut or take the POD option (out of the reasonable options) with captaincy and trades.

Macca and Croft out for Hunt and Randall this week (needed a half). Next week will hope to do Sua and Matautia for Moses and Tevaga if I can afford it (or something similar with two underpriced guns coming in).

My starting HLF pairing this week is Hunt/Norman.

Oh what a time to be alive!

Sironen can go in a loop - so I guess look at him tonight, and then decide if I want to play Randall or Fog instead

I would discard Fogarty so the choice is Sironen vs Randall which as you said you can loop.

Fair enough. If Randall had already played 60 mins in a couple of games and we were confident of 60 mins/40-45 points I'd definitely do that. I like the riskier option usually so I'd probably go Sironen with the hope of him hitting 45-50 with a couple of attacking stats.

Anyways, you've got the option of choosing..I needed to make 2 trades just to field 17 haha. Hope it works out well for you!

Considering swaying from Captain Haas for the first time since owning him. Broncos bench is still disgusting and the Sharks tend to play a lot through the middle so should get through plenty of defense.

Would go to Captain Cook with a low of 61 since restart. Tends to only get the monsters when attacking stats are involved but that is a real chance vs the Dragons. Should be plenty of missed tackles on offer against the Dragons pack

Think I'll probably stay put with Haas having a low of 55 since restart with 5 of 9 scores being 79 or higher

That Broncos bench is what me has cemented Haas again.

I'm playing Sironen and have Fogarty and Randall in the l**p.

Any other week I wouldn't have an issue playing the Fog over Siro or Randall, but with the Titans playing the Roosters I'm a bit hesitant to play the Fog outright in the 17

Yeah I think Haas will go well this week, I'm putting the C on McInnes though hoping he can bag a meat-pie against the bunnies

I have reservations on trading Luai.  Panthers great run home means he's a great 18th man.  Might turn Niu into Siro and try and find money elsewhere next week. Cleary may get a rest for at least a game on the run home too.

Anyone else with Luai not sold on dumping him?

He's my 3rd hlf & I'm holding because as you said the Panthers have a nice upcoming draw so I can even play him as a reserve.

Yeah, I have 3 plus him, but I'm finding it hard to trade him. Looking at his stats he's never played Manly before which is interesting.

If you don't need the cash he would make a great 18th man for the run home. Good enough upside that you can use him as a loop option where he would occasionally replace 17th man. If someone misses a week you would have no hesitation playing him.

I'd prefer someone around 300k to be 18th man, but can understand keeping him

I feel like Luai was a player people thought was barely an 18th man at R1 and now he’s a viable 18th man for the run home. Not sure he’s exceeded expectations by that much either (maybe 3-5 pts per game) - really just shows how hard the short season plus injuries has made it to get a team together.

I would like to sell him but I’ve also created a messy 2RF situation for myself with Young and Butcher so he might end up being a season long hold

Siro actually started off really busy before moving to centre, I was surprised

Have both luai and Fogarty and I’m struggling to decide which one to trade

    The thing is I don't NEED him, but my gut just tells me to hold him. However my team is;

    CM13
    Haas Mofo
    Lucy Tolo Carrigan
    DCE Perace
    Talau Lomax
    Pappy Teddy Nofo

    Grant Pearce Young Luai

    Herbie Hammer Hetherington Niu

10 trades and 115K. Was looking at Luai and Young out for a gun, but gut says just hold them for the week. Thinking just Niu to Siro and play him and hope Herbie gets DPP then I can reasses next week.

How many mins did he play at centre? I didn't see the game, hard to tell going off the interchange timeline.

This is the week that Haas gets a banner IMO, I'm calling it!!!! He's gonna barge over for a try from a Dearden inside ball.

Unfortunately for me, Teddy will also get a banner

Yeah, it was a horrible Centre stint. Zero nett points for about 30 minutes from memory.
