Herbie outscored Teddy last week mate. Been playing Roulette correctly. Got Crichtons 56, Hammers 37 and Herbies 60 so hasn't been too bad. Papy and Ponga doing their jobs. No way was I grabbing Teddy at 900+ 1 more drop around 835K and he'll be ripe for the taking next week.


Hoping Hammer can run a muck in a day game against the Titans and Herbie playing centre can break some tackles and get over the line against the Bunnies this week.

Staggs is a great CTR..sucks he isn't an Aussie! will avg 35+ for the rest of the year. His injury history is a concern

I can't resist Munster and Moses at their prices. Would mean I would have Hunt, Cleary and those 2 in my playing 17 each week, but for the cost and the money I save for other upgrades, it's making sense ATM.

I had to upgrade either Crighton, Best or Mitchell, so sort of happy Best made my mind up ha! I have Herbie as my reserve back, Starling 18th man at full strength.

$140 ITB to upgrade Leilua maybe next week, and possibly Katoa (although he could be a smokey keeper IMO), but that would require a cash out. I have the trade thankfully!

You have a good point ST. I'm definitely not a coach but I would have thought that Butcher would provide a lot more intensity than Liu against a beast Dragons pack that can put on some serious post contact metres. We might see him coming on to play the last 25 mins of 1st half and 25 mins of 2nd

Not a chance this is true, this is pure rotation policy. Come finals time Robbo wants 22 fit players that have recent games but are still fresh. This will ensure any short term injuries don't leave us scrambling for players that haven't played in 3 months

As far as pure centres go, Staggs is probably my favourite option. Not sure I'd splash the cash since we know they can put up a stinker, but if you are already committed to running a high value centre he is as good as they come

Have kept the C on Haas all year, but seriously tempted by Lolo vs the Titans on a Sunday afternoon and DCE vs the Warriors.

Can't see him not playing the Storm, I imagine he will suit up against the Tigers?, and he didn't play earlier in the year vs the Broncos, will they be ever so kind to spare him from us again (59 nil without him ).

Maybe its the Knights or the Sharks where he has a breather..

In 2019 he played the last 8 games of the year, in 2018 the last 7.  Obviously this year is a bit different.. he has missed two games already though.

I would have agreed but for the fact he openly came out and said it, why openly bag a player that can’t go back and work on his game in reserve grade. Robbo is usually one to use the niggling injury when he wants to rest players, said lam has a chance to show what he can do so if he kills it do you expect him to get dropped ?

3rd most popular trade in this week, so some of you are doing it.

I was going to bring Taumalolo in this week, but wondering if Fifita is worth it instead. Both have similar BEs.

Whoever I don't get will quite possibly come in for RFM next week

Trending towards Lolo because don't want Fifita to come back underdone and go missing again,

Anyone doing either?

I was being a bit tongue in cheek about planning to pick him up (and having the funds) for the last month but getting side swiped by injuries etc every week. I’ll let everyone know when I do get him as he will be rested the week after.
Just on that, Joey Manu goes alright at FB so it’s not like they will be crossing their fingers if they do give him a week off. But its not going to happen against a top defensive outfit is it.

For me, I'm either going to grab Fifita or Tedesco (already have Lolo).

I think Fifita should be good to go, he has had two weeks training with the main squad now.

They players are talking about how pumped they are to get him back. Our attacking plays are basically "get it to either edge" which is why Staggs and Herbie have been going so well.

I'm taking the punt on Dfifi, we all know what he's capable of.
And with all the Outs this week and teams scrambling to get 17 it may be the perfect time to bring him in as many won't have cash or trades to make the move.
