I'm sure it's fine. Just a scare, but I don't think an intrim coach would do himself any favours by stuffing the team around the day before the game.

Sitting just outside the top 1000, have matto, mcinnes and lolo as starting 2nd row. Should i go Lucy to Ponga? Seems like probably the right call, just worrying because Lucy has been killing it recently.

Yeah, that makes me keen for my Tigers players. Might play Talau over Herbie too.

Talau back in CTR with Leilua supposedly out???

Makes me tempted to do the Moses move and play Talau and then get Cook next week

@Mattnz - quality joke in the last thread I thought.

You'd think they would have trainers that weren't injured carrying him off the field.

First time I have seen u post as such also, on the jungle juice so early in the day ?

Here's some answers to some repeatedly asked questions

Rabbits, Bethany, Dan the trades are obviously burning a hole in your pocket so just do it. I personally think getting rid of fit players when you have less than 5 trades left and 35% of the season to go is a terrible decision but you all seem to want to do it.

Not really concerned. The cupboard is bare. I'd be more concerned about Sims coming back earlier than 6, than someone other than Fui covering for him.

It's not even so much the trade burning a hole in my pocket, I know I have to trade this week to get 17, just not 100% sure who to sell. Flanno and Randall are both fit and dropped, and there's no clear info on when or if either one will be back.

I know I'm definitely selling one of them.

All this talk of trading Lucy out. I've had him since the start of the season and he's been good value. 7th placed 2rf in total points. I'm happy to keep him until end.

    Cook + S Crichton rough average = 65 + 40
    Tevaga + Lucy rough average = 57 + 50

If you go off the season averages in current position (including Tevaga's larger min INT game) it is: 66 + 41.2 VS 60 + 54.3
My concern with this was then I would have no centre cover and then I would need to trade Aubbs out anyway. I don’t think I wanna waste 2 trades trading centres out. Like I’ve wasted to many trades on centres already.

When Aubbs has to go in 3-4 weeks then I’ll slot S. Crichton into centre and figure out what I can do with all the money Aubbs has made.

Thanks for your advice though mate much appreciated. From where you were 4-5 weeks ago with all those injuries and all you’ve come back steaming into contention as I expected you would.

Anyone with me on going (C)leary this round? He could have a field day against the warriors. His high base means that you're not going to get too burnt backing him, other than the opportunity cost of not (C)'ing a Haas or McInnes or anyone else capable of 80+.

He scored 40 last time they played the Dogs earlier this year and only made 15 tackles scoring 40.

With Mbye back at centre they probs go back to Brooks cutting out Lucy or running that way then coming back and passing in the other direction or running in circles which is what Brooks does.

Without the tries Lucy is probs gonna avg 48-49.

I have more than 5 trades left bro, I have 6  cheer lol!

I’m worried if Cleary is a late out this week or next and is rested I get a big fat 0 with no cover. If I already had 2 hookers in my squad and halves coverage then I wouldn’t be trading mate. Right now I have no halves or hooker cover in my 14-21 which is an issue.

I'm taking Cleary this week, him and Haas always seem to score close to each other, so might as well go the one with more upside. Vs the Warriors seems to be a good matchup, even though the Warriors have improved, Cleary has so many ways of scoring points that I think he'll go nicely this week.
