It's not even so much the trade burning a hole in my pocket, I know I have to trade this week to get 17, just not 100% sure who to sell. Flanno and Randall are both fit and dropped, and there's no clear info on when or if either one will be back.

I know I'm definitely selling one of them.

    Here's some info

One was signed to be the starting halfback for the defending premiers and has been given some time to work on his game.
The other has had two players signed (McCullough and Green) so that his club doesn't have to play him.

Which one sounds like they will be back sooner

    Geez don’t say that MS!

For the first time I’m questioning trading out Robson. How dare you! Razz

I sold Lucy and bought Cook because of the 4 trades round. Cook has scored 373 and lost 53k Lucy scored 371 and made 124k.
I’m too worried about no halves or hooker coverage though. I can’t put myself through that for another week.

Being at work 10 hours tomorrow for a long one if Cleary was a late out I’m completely fucked. Ranking would plummet. Wouldn’t have time to kale a late sneaky trade.

If Burton is cut from the 21 man squad tonight I’ll make no trades, but if he is still in their 19 man squad then I trade Cook in.

The point is that I don't trust either one to be back soon enough for me. Carrying Randall on my bench is a much lower opportunity cost than carrying Flanno on my bench.

Selling Flanno means I can either bank cash by going Lam or Dearden, or a borderline gun like Moses or Taukeiaho (though I probably won't go Moses with that niggling calf injury), while selling Randall means my options are very limited.

If I had 17 warm bodies without trading this week, then I would obviously hold my trades and carry both of them, but one has to go unless I want to run 16 this week (or 15 if the Lomax out rumours are true)

Is this about mysterious Cleary injury I've not seen mentioned anywhere but a post on here?

I think what everyone is trying to say is just make the trade!

No one has a crystal ball that tells them when players are going to be rested/injured/rotated. you make trades because you think it is beneficial to your team not because of a a scenario which may or may not happen. Team balance is good so your trade is good.

Getting Cook in seems pretty safe.....no one has any new info, so stop asking the same question and just do the trade.

EDIT : or don't do it but it's your choice

Cleary has to get rested sooner or later doesn’t he?

Panthers are guaranteed a top four finish anyway.

Sure maybe. Probably not for club's record breaking 9th win in a row opportunity

Yes, but Cleary doesn't want to miss out on Dally M points...

I captained Teddy for 4 weeks in a row (round 9-12), I think I've earned the right to not do it anymore Very Happy That said vs Brisbane in round 16 I might do it one more time

He will repay his avoid supporters after a measly 20 last round with a 90. Never mind he has no chemistry with Lam compared to Flanagan

Pretty happy. Don't have to worry about trades today... None of my trades involve players tonight or tomorrow so can stress out even more until Saturday Smile

Haven't seen anything saying halves have to be rested before the end of the year.
Or is it only star halves? Is DCE also going to be rested? Moses/Brown? George Williams? Pearce? Just Cleary and no one else? Not Luai at some stage as well?
