Thank you, what rank did you finish on? I finished 476th.

I’m not that well as of now, recovering from day procedures at hospital etc.... I’m in a fair bit of discomfort.

    We've all been there.

An NRL team should snap up David Havili, a great fullback, winning rugby championships as a key player (has won the last 2 NPC titles as the best player in a tiny provincial team, and the last 4 Super Rugby titles), and is a good goal kicker. Not getting a well deserved shot at the All Blacks.

Would get a massive pay bump playing for an NRL team as fullback.

Apparently Matt Lodge about to sign with Warriors for a significant upgrade on his current $500k/year contract.

Would love to see them make the team something like this:
    Tevaga
    AFB Lodge
    Katoa Harris (lock) Sironen
    Nikorima CHT
    Hiku Aitken
    Maumalo RTS Fusitua

    Lawton Murdoch-Masila Evans Ah Mau

Playing Tevaga at 9 solves 2 problems, too many quality forwards to fit in the starting pack and bench and addresses the weakest position at the club. Makes them a serious finals contender this season.

Brent Read just tweeted Warriors aren't interested in Lodge and he's staying at Broncos

Warriors have a full top 30 so either have to release someone or are done with signings

The lodge to warriors rumour came from the Mole so its almost certainly wrong.

Lodge is a better footballer than his 2020 but i wouldnt be fussed to lose him. That said, our roster is already super thin for next year so i would be susprised if we let another go. Think we have 4 or 5 spots to fill at the moment

    (And weve signed copley, lol)

Hope it is just a rumour as I'd struggle to support any team with Lodge in it.

The jury in the rape trial of St George Illawarra Dragons star Jack de Belin and Shellharbour Sharks player Callan Sinclair has been urged to keep deliberating after announcing it has been unable to deliver a unanimous verdict.

After considering the verdict for six hours following a three-week trial in the NSW District Court in Wollongong, the members of the jury delivered a note saying they are in dispute over the guilt of the men on several charges of aggravated sexual assault a 19-year-old woman in December 2018.

Judge has now discharged jury because they couldnt reach an agreement.

Not sure what that means in terms of what happens next

    EDIT:

    Steve Zemek
    @stevezemek
Jury has formally been discharged in the Jack de Belin trial. Either there will be another trial or DPP could elect to drop charges. Don't know which.

Another trial would be the worst possible result for Dragons

I’m a Dragons fan and even I struggle to think or care about how a rape trial affects the footy team.

Yeah, I'd say another trial is the worst possible result for the victim

Has anyone followed the trial closely like I have ?

Obviously I'm not in the court room hearing all the testimonies and seeing all the evidence but from what I have seen I was certain the verdict would come back Not Guilty.

I genuinely believe that each party believes they are right. The guys think they had consent and she thinks it was rape.

I haven't followed the case closely, but this is probably a fair assessment, and is true for a lot of these types of incidents.

I think I'll want to log off for a week once we get a verdict (or outcome), whichever way it goes. NRL internet will get ugly. Too many opinions.

I thought he was fucked but then what made me rethink was the housemate at home the whole time and he didn't hear anything untoward and when he walked in on them he said it looked like all parties 'were doing what the wanted' or something along those lines. So I was thinking more along the lines of not guilty also.
