Pat Mat will make you coin but his next few games are tough so take that into consideration. Although they will all be tough for the knights and hes done ok so farAardvark Ratnick wrote:Agree re Hunt ST he has been solid in both Fantasy games as well as on the field a nice surprise all round , cant comment on Pat Mat as not too familiar with him .............

I watched Pat Mat closely in his Round 3 match and I was impressed with what I saw. He is a monster (built like a tank) who can break tackles and produce off-loads. He has some errors in his game but is still pumping out great scores with good base stats. Bought him for 119k, he is up to 184k after his first price rise, and he could get as high as 350k eventually.

IMO Garvey's job security is poor.
I've had P.Carter as a POD from Day 1, so I'm very pleased with him so far. If I had to choose between and him and Parcell to buy this week, I would lean towards Parcell because he is cheaper and IMO less of a risk than Carter, but I think its a toss of the coin really.

I have traded Brown to Pat Mat.
Brown is going to lose cash if he keeps the bench hooker role, so he is a bigger priority trade out than Green.
Hopefully Tohu Harris plays a few games at real life centre to drop his price, then moves to 2nd row and I can bring him in then.
I wouldn't bother with Garvey in this game unless Lichaa gets some bad news. Won't get enough games to raise enough cash to be worth the trade in and trade out

It makes good sense to trade out Brown if he is leaking money. Tbh he has NEVER been on my radar. Shame he is stopping Green from playing.
And yes T.Harris is going to be a great buy at a good price when he eventually moves back into the fowards. He is the best CTR in VSDT when he is playing in the forwards.

Was thinking of bringing in Sam Mataora and then wondered about Kade Snowden. Looked up NRL.com casualty ward and it says;
Knights: Tariq Sims (suspension, Round 6), James McManus (concussion, season), Chanel Mata'utia (knee, Round , David Bhana (ankle, Round 10), Akuila Uata (chest, Round 5), Jake Mamo (ankle, Round 5), Daniel Saifiti (knee, indefinite), Jack Stockwell (shoulder, Round 5), Kade Snowden (various, Round 5)
What the hell is various ????????????? After round 1 he was just dropped, wasn't he ???
Anyway if and when Snowden comes back, I'm worried that Snowden and Korbin Sims will be the starting props and Mataora goes back to reduced minutes from the bench.

I'm happy with the Saifiti twins (shame Daniel is injured) but (from a long-time Dragons fan) I WOULDN'T be touching any other Knights forwards with Nathan Brown as coach. You CAN'T safely predict what he will do.

He was pretty young back then ST a bit like Jason Taylor at Souths , plenty of football nous but too stubborn to change their line of thinking looks like JT has matured and no doubt Brown will too but has he got the squad ????

You might be right AR, but Brown's selections have been very unpredictable so far this season.

Pretty torn this week after a rushed week and a few fuck-ups the week before.
Narrowed it down to:
1. JNiko to Parcell
2. Green to PatMat (I will be down a CTR for the week if I don't do this one i.e. CLaw suspended)
3. Evans to JTurbo

I've got Carter in there at the moment. I would love to bring Parcell in, and move Carter down to the second row. But I can't afford the jump to Parcell from any of my NPRs.

Parcell - better job security than the other two.

My WFB/CTR here are a bit of a mess
Have Brown, Green, Scott, Feeney all requiring attention.
Who are the best trade in targes here. Have $170k in the bank so can afford a reasonable upgrade.
Also have a few potential trades in the forwards - guys like Evans and V.Leuluai
No real standouts other than the usual gun suspects (Tedesco, Inglis, RTS - might go big against the Knights this week, I'm not yet sold on Munster).
The upgrade for me from Green, Henry or Feeney is too big, so I'm waiting for another cow to come along.

All three look like good trades. I'd probably go 1 and 3 and take the AE for your missing centre. I probably will this week, given CLaw is back next week and centre is such a crapshoot anyway. Gives you a chance to use the captaincy loophole as well.

Actually, the only way I can get Parcell in is to trade out Kane Evans via a couple of DPPs. Worth it?

I cant say i have watched him closely so your opinion is more valid than mine. Great for guys like you who got him at base, I was just skeptical at picking him at his current price with his upcoming opponents. Have to consider him now on your valuation, stepping stone to TofuSimon Templar wrote:

Kane Evans has more wraps on him than a pass the parcell at a kids birthday party, is it worth staying in the game to win the $5 toy inside when you could be eating cake
