Don't forget, this week's score decides your position in the ELIMINATOR !

I'm with you mate - I've also still got Niu and Mead.
Fui and McGuire are straight trades but still tempted to keep the Tigers and Broncos boys just in case (as per this week with Mead getting another chance).

Holding trades this week at this stage, despite Uto losing cash. Have to decide between Walsh and Walker as 4th reserve.
Edit: Walsh now in my 13, so it's now between Laurie and Walker (assuming he plays)

I've currently gone the whole year without cleary and my rank shows it but will need to bite the bullet and bring him in for the eliminator or I'll be gone as soon as he goes hig

In hindsight, Bird over Avo was a poor decision. I did expect the Dragons to go better than they did though

Walker over Bird as my fourth reserve was worse!

I played him straight up! Tbf so did my opponent, and it was the Broncos. We weren't to know

Jeeze that Walker score hurts. Twisting the dagger, his price is gonna plummet now too. BE was 82.
Pappy out for a while longer means Hynes an absolute must have now.
Looking ahead to next week, given the storm play first, I'll probably trade in a couple of their mob - just gotta figure out who. Short list:
Hughes, B Smith, Eisenhuth, Johns, Lewis....

Some big scores coming this round. My round started poorly with Tolo, but pretty much everyone after that did well. Total 1198 pre updates. Suspect that’s a pretty good overall score but reckon a few will have scored low to mid 1200s

Yeah I thought my mid-1100s was good till I checked everyone else's lol I guess if people managed to avoid any Walker-esque low scores then that's probably all the difference this round

Re: Sportsdeck VSDT 2021 Part 1
Trifecta for me this round
Walker (3 rd avg = 49) gives me -3
Saab (3 rd avg = 58) gives me 6
BMM (3 rd avg = 56) gives me 14
Total (3 rd avg = 163) I get 17
At least I ended up with 1027 so it could have been worse !!

I feel like a cheat and a fraud.
Firstly, I paid a premium for Cleary at the start of the season, and over the past couple of weeks, I've come to the conclusion that he is a lock-in as captain.
Secondly, over the past 3 rounds, I've bought Walsh (R9), T. Turbo (R10), and Hynes (R11), even though I had already missed out on significant prices rises for T. Turbo and Hynes.
I think it's grossly unfair that we should be rewarded for captaining the best fantasy player, and buying in-form players.
The game is obviously broken, and needs to be completely dismantled and re-invented in the off-season. ;-)

Re: Sportsdeck VSDT 2021 Part 1
I thought last week was bad but an absolute cluster of a round for me and guessing I'll probably drop out of the top 100.
Already had some dud scores with Doueihi, Walker and Bird and missed some of the big scores from commonly owned players I don't have (e.g. Walsh, Teddy etc.).
But the biggest debacle of the weekend was trading in DEdwards (DNP) for RTS (66).
Unfortunately, I was locked in before I found out he was omitted and wasn't able to trade in my reserves of Mead (73), Averillo (54) or Laurie (50).
To add insult to injury, 48 was my second lowest non-playing reserve but then good old Simpkins happened to sneak in for a cheeky 4 points, just to stuff up my auto-emergency scores too.
I clearly must have smote the fantasy gods.
