I think Tohu is more likely to start on an edge and then move into the middle. He is one player I keep wanting to put in my team but its prob worth seeing what the Warriors forward rotation is gonna be like and bring him in later

With Tamou gone, it is expected that Leota will start. Will he get more minutes or will they be shared more equally? Who is Penrith’s 4th Mid? I assume they won’t see too many minutes as Yeo and JFH play big minutes.

JFH is actually the only guy who's been in and out of my team who hasn't been mentioned here. See value in him stepping up as pack leader without Tamou, plus guaranteed non-Origin Round 13 gun.

My skeleton of a team is getting dangerously close to a 1st draft, there's only so much tinkering I can do before I cave... 6 days until trials lads

What’s the plan for centres this year? Gees this year’s options look worse than last year. Averillo + ?. Niu, Fusi, Feagai. Yuk.

Gagai and Averillo are my two. I've said earlier in this thread why Gagai is a good pod

Bit late but on the Smith front... saw or heard something recently where someone said he once turned up to training 2 weeks before the season started so who knows... I recently listened to his Podcast with Denan Kemp and it sounded like he was retiring. Saying shit like “when I resigned the first time with the Storm I always saw myself as being a 1 club player”.

Gagai looks good but it's a small sample size, so I'd bet that he hits multiple <20 scores this year over a full year. CTRs will be CTRs

Look at the 40+ averaging pure CTRs and all still had <20 scores (Staggs only game injury affected, but unavailable):
    Lomax: 9, 15
    Best: 6
    Graham: 15 (also 21)
    Manu: 15, 19

Yeah if you start with a 'gun' CTR you just have to ride the good with the bad. Im starting cheap but when it comes to upgrading im gonna go with someone that when they go big, go really big and not worry about their low scores

Fox are reporting that the Momo Lawrie swap deal is complete with immediate effect.

Threw Momo at centre in my initial squad just to fill the spot with someone around that price.... maybe he will just stay there

If Laurie comes at base price (no manual bumps, as average brought down by interchange + low amount of games) he’d quickly become most owned player and would quickly become 3rd WFB for just about everyone

55 in only FB start in 2020 (13 tackles is a bit odd) but averaged 39 in NSW cup

Also could help Liddle maybe as you’d think Mbye would drop to 14 and potentially take less mins than Simpkin would

Momirovski is an interesting one: priced at 27 and career average of 42.8 at Centre (10 games).
That average drops back to 40.0 without the two games he kicked goals (14 goals in two games!).

4 tries in 4 games at the Storm, 5 in 6 games at the Tigers.
A 9 tries in 10 games is a pretty high strike rate for a Centre - I suspect he probably evens out to a mid 30's average, but likely still worth it in that team.

If Momirovski plays centre, do they shift Roberts or Leilua to the wing?

Momirovski is going to Panthers as per news before

Will be potential starter over Naden/May
