He is basically prices at his average from last year. Slight discount for 1 injury game and 1 game off the bench.
But that is nowhere near enough upside. I would have Bird, Roberts, Walker, Momirovski, and even Esan Marsters ahead of him in similar price range

If they can keep that squad together and pick up a few experienced travellers over the next few years they could see a handful of successful years ahead.

Definitely. Pouring every bonus bet I get into them at $17-19 hoping that they'll be flying some point in the season and half that price for a hedge. Got a bit over $3,000 built up so far.

Big believer in Holbrook + Fogarty was huge last year. Fifita/Tino can't hurt. I'd love it if (C) Smith does end up there too but I doubt it.

Anyone notice Cameron Smith isn't available on NRL Fantasy and he is also listed as being a loss (released) in 2021 on the NRL.com site.

he's not signed anywhere so that makes sense.

Alright alright hear me out… Just saw something that made me think.

Smith is yet to announce his retirement. You would think being this close to the start of the season he would’ve said something by now. Maybe the Broncos needed to free up cap space and Macca to the Dragons is just what they needed to sign Smith… remember they would only need to pay him 6 months of his contract.

More likely that Broncos sign Billy Walters, and that frees up a spot for Tigers to sign Jackson hastings.

Didnt the Broncos need to free up space to re-sign Staggs?

I can see Macca averaging between 57-60 if he stays fit.

    Hello everyone,

I just created a draft league for a bit of fun.

The drafting is set to begin at 8.30pm tonight the night after the round 1 TLT. 8 team league but can increase  the size if we get enough interest.

League code is 63A7H29F. Please do join if interested.

Two tries and two try saves though....60 might be a safer estimate.  Definitely 80 min at the Dragons? Or eased in after his injury? Anyone know how he looks?

I would love* to be proved wrong but Macca and Griffin is not a great combination for additional attacking stats. The only upside I see is that he is at the Dragons and will have to make 60-70 tackles a week Very Happy

I know all about rules changes etc etc and the 65 ppg at the Knights but I still reckon he averages around 50-55. While he was at the Broncs there were countless pre season articles about him adding scoots, offloads, flick passes, goose steps etc to his game but none of it ever came to anything.....he still tackled the house down, passed the ball directly out of dummy half and scored 45-55 points.

He is 31 years old and has had numerous serious injuries over the last few season...I just don't think he is in for a late career renaissance

*would actually not love to be proved wrong

Looks like last year his average tackle count was up by around 12. Seems a lot.

What are the views on Friz? Tossing up between him and Matterson. But Matterson is one JWH away from being a Cordner.

True. I'll push the draft date for this to day after the TLT as well.

Friz is tempting, guess it depends on if you think he can get a bunch more attacking stats at the knights. Avgd about 48 in base stats last year and should keep that 80 min edge role..

I Know you're joking, but that's exactly what I'm thinking he might do at the Dragons, 60+ tackles a week.

I agree with this, but no one was suggesting he'll get these attacking stats, I'm suggesting his base has gone up 11 points and that it might be sustainable.
