I would prefer Robson if guaranteed 80.

    Is Isaako a buy?

    Year of the hookers?

Anyone else rocking Brailey, Egan, Liddle, Croker in their teams?

Not croker. Latest draft is Grant, Brailey, Egan, Liddle with Watson starting Mid.

We are attributing about 3 points bump for big minute middles due to the six again correct? But for every average there is high and lows. Could it be I wonder, if some busy defender tacklebots got more of a bump than other players? Cameron McInnes in 2018 had base of 50 for an average of 56, in 2019 had a base of 56 for an average of 63, but then in 2020 had a bump of 10 points to 66 in base and 72.5 avg. Could it be that McCullough being a fit tackle bot can expect a similar bump and rather than low 50s like he does some years, maybe 60+ is the new norm? Thoughts?

I'd like an 80 minute Robson too. Problem is, even if there is no bench hooker in round one, there could be one in round 2, unless we get some specific quotes from the coach prior to season start.

Probably yeah, those guys that make a lot of tackles probably increase their avg by the same percentage as others with lower counts.

I don't mind macca, and suggested him last week, but i just don't think I can go there. There is no upside to his game other than making heaps of tackles.

I don't really mind where the points come from, as long as they come. Cook to Macca allows Brooks to Moses, one less origin player and Macca's resume for my team is no shakier than Brooks'. The injury still worries me though.

    Keen to get some thoughts:

    TU: Cook & RTS
TD: Robson (no bench hooker rnd 1) & Teddy

I guess I am probably being contrarian/devils advocate for the sake of it. He's not a no for me, but I think i'd rather go for a Grant/Cook in that position. The injury does worry me, but I guess Griffin is confident in him..

Thoughts on Alvaro if he gets a bench role at the Dragons?

Averages 37 in games between 30-40 mins. Priced at 22, potentially a decent pick up.

One to watch in trials I guess

Was spoken about last week some time. The consensus seems to be he wont get a start let alone the minutes. However, its a wait and see from me, im not convinced he doesn't get a bench spot.

wouldnt even surprise me if he or poasa start. New coaches usually try to mix things up and he has said every position is up for grabs. griffin coached alvaro in the u20s so he's another that he's brought to the club via former connection

Oh true that. Well he was starting prop at Eels for a while.

Add in all the middle forwards the Dragons have lost too so who knows...

Just a random question - any reason why there's little/no discussion of Curtis Scott as a potential cut-price Centre? Barring injury he should be guaranteed a starting position, priced at 27. Not going to set the world on fire, but should be fairly dependable.

Too many scores under 20, not consistent enough for my liking, better options available

Cheers. That and the fact that he tends to rub other players the wrong way and gets into fights. Beer

    Just had my first draft and ended up with this team;

    Grant
    Murray JFH Tino
    Crichton TPJ
    Munster Fogarty
    Aitken Momirovski
    Pappy RTS Mansour

    Brailey Taupau Riki Drinkwater

The Drinkwater pick was just the HLF/WFB DPP
