The other big one is Tohu named at 13 makes him very, very tempting. Surely he still plays 80 and moves to the edge at some point? Or just huge mins in the middle.

Other than Egan I can't see anyone else in that pack playing big minutes - AFB, JTB definitely won't, Curran never played more than 32 so far, looks like BMM will be used for impact, Sironen got a few 80 min games last year, but I reckon some of those were covering centre/half, and more often than not he got subbed. Even Katoa only played the full 80 four times last year.

As a very rough estimate I'd guess:

    AFB: 50 mins (Evans 30)
Egan: 80 (not confident he's actually up to 80, but will take their word that's the plan)
JTB: 40 mins (ah Mau 40)
    Curran: 25 (BMM 55)
Siro/Katoa: ~70 (Harris shifts to edge for a bit)
    Harris: 80

    Any thoughts?

The risk is even a slight break puts him overpriced. In 60-70 min games last year (which he had 4 of) his avg is 55, in 70+ minute games post rule change that jumps to 64.

I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference mins wise, JTB was pretty consistently playing 40 last year. I'd expect the prop split to be something like AFB 50/Evans 30, JTB 40/LaM 40.

Interesting that it's not Hutch 6 and Lam 7 if that's how Lam is going to be used this year... Kinda odd.

Keary will be wearing 7 this year but it's largely irrelevant what number is on his back

Is there a potential impact on Lam's KM? Keary averages 234 KM at halfback vs 116 at five-eighth. Albeit most of those halfback games were in 2016/17 so not sure how relevant they are now.

Billy Mag's named at 13 for the Sharks in which I can only assume is a strong troll of our young Rabbits

    Sharks:

    1 Will Kennedy

    2 Sione Katoa

    3 Josh Dugan

    4 Jesse Ramien

    5 Ronaldo Mulitalo

    6 Matt Moylan

    7 Chad Townsend

    8 Braden Hamlin-Uele

    9 Blayke Brailey

    10 Aaron Woods

    11 Briton Nikora

    12 Wade Graham

    13 Billy Magoulias

    14 Connor Tracey

    15 Jack Williams

    16 Teig Wilton

    17 Andrew Fifita

    18 Luke Metcalf

    19 Mawene Hiroti

    20 Braydon Trindall

    21 Nene Macdonald

Tolman and Rudolf out but expected for round 1, so probably not much to get excited about with Magoulias at 13. You'd think Rudolf gets that round 1.

There was talk of Connor Tracey playing fullback, but you'd assume based on this that Kennedy is favourite for round 1

Played next to players not known for kicking the ball in those games

    Cody Walker from rounds 2-6, 15, 16 in 2016. Sutton round 19 2016. Round 12 and 13 2017 next to Connor Watson

Yup fair. Even when he played there in 2019 for a couple of games it was next to Latrell. As you were.

    Its possible.

In games Benji and Brooks played together last year sometimes Benji was 7 and sometimes Brooks was. Whoever wore the 7 tended to do more kicking.

Different players and different team to this situation, but it wouldn't surprise me if Keary did a bit more kicking this year

What are your guys thoughts on BMM? I haven’t really looked into him yet but he’s 405k DPP Mid/edge and should get a big minutes role in the second row. Do we think he’s a better option than Ford?

Is Radley due to be back R1? Would need match fitness so I imagine could come back through the bench. If he loses coin and has any indication of starting or playing 50+minutes he will be in my team with these new rules!
