    My squad at the moment.

    HOK: A. McCullough
    MID: T. Fa'asuamaleau, L. Ah'Mau, C. Watson
    EDG: D. Fifita, J. Ford
    HLF: N. Cleary, D. Cherry-Evans
    CTR: J. Bird, J. Averillo
    WFB: C. Ramsey, T. Niu, T. Hoy

    INT: J. Braily, J. Liddle, W. Egan, L. Lam

    EMG: B. Murdoch-Masila, A. Davey, B. Simonsson, $246k

I feel I have gone way too heavy with the mid-rangers and I have $372k in change left. I am somewhat cold on McCullough and thinking about turning him to Tedesco, and keep the cheap backs so they can rotate out easily depending who looks the best.

Davey should be either in your 17 or out of your squad altogether

That WFB is a shocker. I'd use some bank to upgrade one of them, going to take you forever to get a good scorer in there. After 3 weeks you could have a non player and 3 guys averaging in their 20s to pick from in your back 3.

Add to that comments coming from coaching staff about him being too "raw", I dont know if we will see him on the run on side. If he is there I am all on Riki.

I did a rejiggle dropped McCullough, Ah Mau and Ramsey for Tedesco, RFM and 300k player.

I will have one of BMM and Ah Mau to start the year most likely, and BMM costs more so a better gauge on team budget
I think you can find better value than RFM. His average is lower due to stints off bench early season, there are a lot of tries bumping his average so will need to maintain that to go over 50. Otherwise I think he settles around 48-51

Havent cared about your fantasy team for a long time though, considering how you rank every year.

For real though he played two games there last year for 60 odd minutes and averaged what he is priced at. I know with minutes he scores well, but for real is a 6 point bumo if he averages 60+ minutes enough to justify a pick up? (Even though I think thats what I rate RFMs value at and I am in on him.)

Yeah the news of Glenn as captain does no favours for Riki. When has comes back you would say only he and Glenn are guaranteed starts which means Lodge, Carrigan, TPJ and Riki have to fight it out for 3 remaining starting spots. This is not even mentioning Flegler who has huge raps on him, who Kevie just tied down to a new deal just a month or two ago.

At least one of these 4 blokes is not going to be a viable fantasy buy and a bad pick up in draft ... Which one?

That is a fair assessment, I think he can go on a decent streak. He is underpriced because of bench games and an injury last season.

Priced at 46, in 80 minute games his floor is at least 40 points. Tries definitely boosted his score the guy is a unit and busts tackles comfortably. You are right though doing a deep dive into his stats the value may not be there without a hot streak of tries.

Throw out some MID/EDG names to look at

Agree, would rather spend an extra $90k and get an undervalued keeper in Fifita.

How many of his tries last year were created by Foran? A reason I might get whoever the Manly left 2rf is even of it's Gosi.

I'm not saying he can't or won't because he can certainly hit the line and bust tackles, but not at the level of say Fifi who is only a bit dearer. Previous seasons he's only crossed twice but in limited games so no reason to say he won't in a full season, back your gut if you think he can maintain. 54 is nothing to be sniffed at if he can match last season.

He's probably the best/safest option at his price unless you think someone like Jackson goes better at lock or Lane gets moved to middle

Is that draft number 345685? Very Happy

I like that though if Waddel gets a run.

I agree and have looked into it. Fifita is another year older don’t get me wrong he looked great in the all star match but I think as the season goes on he’ll slow down. Same as Woods he hasn’t been much for them for a couple of years now. Uele is great but he was better used in shorter more impactful stints.

I reckon they’ll want someone in the middle to stand there and tackle all game and anchor the defence while the impact players bust up around him.

    That’s my thoughts anyway

I'd probably like to go cheaper than Waddell because he's the type who needs a good 10 games to hit that 40+ average because of how he scores, loads of MTs will give him some 20 games and few 60s when he busts the line. Might not get that sort of game run with RFM, Elliot, and others available on that edge spot.

The time you saved in life by not doing it honestly. I’ve spent an hour tonight mucking around with my team and it’s all going to be changed anyway in two weeks. I know I’m wasting it now but I can’t stop
