Apparently, Ponga is very unlikely to be back before R6.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 7 - Trial edition
The annoying trial stat from last night is that Alvaro got the most minutes of any Dragons middle (and scored well with his time too)
I don't expect that to continue into the NRL, but its tempting to infer that he'll get enough game time to justify his cost in your NPRs

Can't see Kerr remaining on an edge. Will get 40ish minutes in the middle.

Better off sticking with Leniu who is more likely to maintain decent minutes in a good side

i've got some catching up to do, I missed some games yesterday. I'm about to press play on sharks vs bulldogs. Let's see if Waddell is worth a punt

Might start with Ponga then if James Hooper is reporting he's out until R6

Not much point even looking at stats for a trial imo.
I see most people are saying that. I agree to a point but cant completely over look the stats and even the minutes in trials.
For example I was interested in J.Braileys stats and even fantasy points. How many tackles did he make in minutes played? How many kick or run metres? What was his PPM fantasy wise? Gives some indication at least to potentially choose players.
End of the day you cant choose a player just on how they went at trials but good to look at things from all angles.

Poaasa played 24 minutes as starting prop, and Vaughan played less than 40 minutes. Neither of which will continue either.
I'll probably avoid all Dragons middle/eedge forwards, as I can see them chopping and changing week to week.

Leniu does not have decent minutes to maintain. He'd need to see a big increase.
Assuming Leota or Eisenhuth get the starting spot, I see little value in Leniu

Havent researched it but my gut feel is Lawrie may get the big minute lock role and could be value.Milchcow wrote:

I don't doubt there will be value. Losing McInnes and Frizell opens up opportunities. I am just not confident in predicting it based on round 1 team lists

If that's the scenario, then all I can say is welcome to my team Fusitua (I may even Captain you, just to make sure)
