Wouldn’t surprise me if BS started lock towards the end of this year

Cheers, settings on app doesn’t have that. I’ll just wait for the big reveal when everyone is registered.

I didn’t even know he was off the bench at the end of last year! I think it’ll happen more so now

Welch will still play big minutes, and Welch himself was talking up Kamikamica in the TK podcast. there's value in there, just a bit short term for me. But 100k is probably enough instead of the standard 150k if he's giving gun scores to start the year off strongly, IF he earns that much.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 7 - Trial edition
I'm thinking that with the new rules, anyone that has come back much fitter than they were last season is going to be a decent buy. Those that can play 80 minutes easily will take a lot of pressure off others that may be struggling and need to reduce their minutes to cope with the speed of the game.
Really tempted by Lucy, has gone from being pretty chunky last season, to looking really fit now. If he can add a high work rate to his attacking ability, could easily reach gun status.

He's edging gun status at edge with a 53 average, obviously tier below Crichton/Matterson
His long term average pretty much places him at price, so you need extra tries or massively increased workload to make him worth it, edge just doesn't see as enough traffic consistently to match the big middle scorers

Anyone worried that Damien Cook will be getting less then 80 minutes with Benji on the bench? Where would benji play and how many minutes are we thinking?

I have put all the fatties on my watchlist. They will lose dollars as well as pounds as the season progresses and I can have them all cheap by the time they are fitter.

You've said yourself, you don't like picking players expecting an increase in form. You want a change in role or minutes. He'll have the same role and I don't expect much of an increase over 78.3 minutes from last year. I get what you are saying though. My theory is that fit, big minute middles get more of a bump than anyone else. I don't think Lucy qualifies.

I am just thinking what would Benji playing as a hooker achieve for the team. Maybe the answer lies in there somewhere.

NAS has shown a high work rate playing bigger minutes. No-one else comes close to matching his work rate in that pack, despite being their biggest as well.
In games over 40 minutes (average 50) last season he had a 58 point average. Massive PPM of 1.16 in bigger minutes, doesn't lose anything at all. Has come back fit and firing this season. Is their best forward, they might as well have him on the park longer, when playing effectively. Started last season with lower minutes, coming back from injury.

Agree, if anything Cook should benefit from the new rules as per my previous post. IMO

Saw this earlier today. Would having Benji in there make Arey play better?
Cooper Cronk certainly hasn't missed in his assessment of Adam Reynolds' contract dispute. #NRL

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 7 - Trial edition
I can see him taking on more workload though, tackles, hit ups, going to want the ball in hand more often, taking the line on. Fitness has a lot to do with edges that started taking on tackling in the middle last season, with the faster game, to help their props out, Harris, Crichton and Capewell leading the way. He has the potential to take on that kind of role with the higher fitness level.Mulvy wrote:

If NAS gets the extra minutes consistently he's a fantastic option. But only usually been used when the Storm pack are carrying injuries, be interesting to see if he picks up larger role or Bellamy continues to use him in shorter minutes where he has proven to be stupidly effective, not sure it changesmattnz wrote:
