45 minutes a game on average last year at an average of 25 points doesn't fill me with confidence in Hetherington either.

Nor me mate but an option, LAM if he gets 40 minutes will be a definte for me but I'm not sure in that Warriors pack

Played second row last year even though he was named as prop/lock, so not reading too much into PPM.
He's not an amazing option but think he'll make more money than LAM or Lodge, partly because he starts at a lower price. Keeping eye on Alvaro and Faama at Dragons as alternative but that pack is hard to predict.

Ok. Leniu has great ppm for bit cheaper than Hetherington. Minutes very questionable but.
Alvaro i have looked at and be interesting if he gets a start as would score very well. He got good minutes in the trial didn't he? Thanks i will keep eye out on Faama as well.

Yeah i may just end up going LAM. Saves a trade when Lodge needs to traded out round 4 when Haas is back. LAM may start with lower minutes and build up to more like in 2019 once gets his fitness back from the injury. Be the other starting prop with AFB hopefully.

I don't have either, going Fogarty and Lam, with Crichton as captain.Rabbits21 wrote:Is anyone going the gutsy play of not starting with Cleary and going with DCE?
Secondly is anyone not starting with either Cleary or DCE? Geez it’d be a brave move.

So would Peachey take 20 minutes off Rein at hooker and 30 minutes off Tino at lock or more or less off both do you think?

Peachey comes on around 25-30 minutes into the first half, Tino is still on at that time and moves to prop. Plays big minutes in the first half, then goes off. Peachey plays lock, then hooker when Tino comes back for a much shorter 2nd stint.

Put a line through LAM he's not gonna get the minutes. Lenui is cheaper, has less competition, younger, and more explosive!

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 7 - Trial edition
Nick Cotric suffered an ankle injury in the weekend trial and will need to prove his fitness. Jake Averillo suffered an elbow injury a couple of weeks ago but should be fit to play. If Cotric isn’t fit, coach Trent Barrett could be forced to play Averillo at left centre with Brandon Wakeham holding the five-eighth position.

Dont think there is any less competition for Leniu, he is surrounded by big minute middles.Honey Badger wrote:

Looking like:
Yeo 60-80
JFH 50-70
Leota 40
Martin 20 in the middle, takes that from either Yeo or JFH each week when Kikau comes back on, as Cleary has implied
Eisenhuth 30+ - averaged 58 minutes last season
Leniu - maybe 20-30 if he is lucky and they only play both Yeo and JFH 60 each, which screws up the interchanges, with Kikau needing 2 as well
Really hard to find decent minutes for Leniu

Got me thinking again for that 4th Mid. I do like Leniu with his ppm. Will he get increase in minutes but? L Martin could spend time in the middle as well as spelling Kikau with Capewell on the other edge. No tamou this year but with the great players that can play prop they got like JFH, Leota, Eisenhuth there to. Yeo playing lock. Feel there is not much minutes to go around for Leniu unless is injuries. He does look like a great player but if gets the minutes.

That's it. Hard to see where the extra minutes for Leniu this year comes from unfortunately.

Only if, and it’s a bloody massive if, the coach decides to play everyone at their exact same role every year and doesn’t ask more of their best front rower.
i mean, really. Leinu won’t get minutes because Martin needs them? Or Eisenhuth? Maybe! But probably damn not.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 7 - Trial edition
I guess if Leniu can somehow go from 20 minutes last year and somehow scrape 30 minutes. With his 1.1 ppm could look at 11 point increase which would be ok from around 22 points average to 33 average points a game.

But that’s another huge assumption! Why would the PPM remain the same if he’s on the field a lot longer? 40 minute props can be a lot less explosive and busy than a 20 minute impact benchie
