My wedding day is in September this year. My goal is to get down to 95... Currently at about 105 (I honestly don't look 105, no clue how I am that weight). Playing AFL this year and doing all the pre-season conditioning is helping me, plus boot camp every other day and watching what I am eating. To be 95 or under on my wedding day would really be such a blessing for me. Last time I was that light was when I was on Keto and I was 92 kg's (2019).

My missus just started the Lady Shake and I am thinking of going on the Man Shake for a bit to see how I go.

Speaking of the Man Shake - I wonder what the Mad Dog thinks about his old club being sponsored by the opposition (Isogenix)?

I know some Knights fans who are pretty unhappy that their shirt sponsor is a pyramid scheme.

I went from 120kgs to 100kgs to 120kgs and slowly going back down again.

Luckily I'm quite tall and can carry it well but going to hit 100 again soon. I buy clothes a size smaller so that I feel good when they fit properly. Gives me that little increase in motivation at times.

Thats me too. I was 72 kg in my late teens and skinny as a rake. Wouldn't have been 65kg since early teens.

I am a massive yoyo dieter. My weight fluctuates every year, mainly goes up around Christmas time santa

I think the tallness helps me not look as big as the scales say. Trying on my wedding suit made me want to get rid of it all!!!

The hardest part is remember that this won't happen in a week or two and to just keep pushing.

    1–9: quarterbacks, kickers, and punters
10–19: quarterbacks, kickers, punters, and wide receivers
20–39: running backs and defensive backs
40–49: running backs, defensive backs, linebackers, and tight ends
50–59: linebackers, defensive linemen, and centers
60–79: offensive linemen and defensive linemen
80–89: wide receivers and tight ends
    90–99: linebackers and defensive linemen

That way, you get used to certain numbers being a position e.g. #87 is usually a TE: Gronk, Kelce etc. But there's is also room for the number to become synonymous with a player i.e. Tom Brady 12, Pat Mahomes 15 etc.

Bottom line - it would boost jersey sales which has to be good for the clubs/NRL.
The NRL already has certain numbers representing different positions

My partner sells beer, she gets free beer all the time which is my biggest pitfall. Plus I'm saving for a house so the coke use is minimal now.

I don't look at what I'm doing now as dieting as I think that has a time limit mentality on it. I made lifestyle changes and just stick to them. I'm going down roughly 1-1.5kgs per week with 4 gym sessions a week. The coolest thing for me is seeing how strong I'm getting, going from benching 30kgs @ 12 reps for 4 sets to 60kgs within the matter of a few weeks is a cool feeling.

I also find it annoying that the girlfriend doesn't care what I look like, I want her to hate it when I put on weight hahaha.

its all relative, shorter will be lighter on the scales, taller is gonna weigh more despite both being the same level of 'fitness'

I have been thinking about it a little more and come to the conclusion that making the jerseys weekly wouldn't be too much of a deal.

As someone stated I am fairly certain players get new jerseys every week anyways and with team lists being announced on a Tuesday, it wouldn't be hard/take too long for the jerseys 1-21 to be done up before games on Thursday and for the rest of the round. Say Cleary in number 7 gets ruled out on a Friday, then it would be no difference as most likely someone like Burton in #18 would come into the side anyways and be #18. Plus the revenue these teams would make my kids wanting that Cleary on their back, etc....

Think about all the Jordan #23 jerseys that would sell EVERY year. No doubt Bulls get a cut of that money... Imagine if this was already in place and in 15 years time kids were buying Smith #9 jerseys or Johns #7 jerseys and the clubs/NRL would get a cut of the money for each sale. The revenue would far and beyond offset the amount it costs to make new jerseys every week.

Yeah exactly that. I am trying to make different lifestyle choices - I rarely drink soft drink, trying to stop putting sauce on things, instead of steak and chips I have steak and salad.

I used to love going to the Gym but my mrs isn't a big fan and I have footy training on Tuesday and Thursday and then Bootcamp on Monday and Wednesday so it is hard to find time to go Gym. I recently got a puppy so that has also helped motivate me to go walking every morning because I feel bad if I don't take him for a walk to use up is energy.

I’m looking at dragons middle. I heard Wacko say Josh Kerr is going to stay at edge. Does that mean there is a chance Alvaro starts at prop with Vaughan? PPM beast from years ago.

I think that Poasa is the more likely to start prop with Vaughan, may be a decent option himself.

Who would be 2RF? Kerr and Sims?

So middle would be split between Lawrie, Alvaro, Ford, Vaughn, Merrin, Poasa, Fuimaono?

If starting prop, would be hard not to select him at $293k

Is he up against Graham in round 1? If so it can only end badly, will get schooled.

Whacko said in the talking league podcast today that it will last at least a few weeks before coach will switch it up. Best thing to do is push Lawrie to prop and start Ford at lock IMO
