Couple of Curtis Scott redemption articles surfacing on another slow news day.....anyone?

Hard to pick him over Bird or Jimmy at a similar price but who knows.

I weighed myself for the first time in years the other day. I'm about 20kg heavier than I was when I was in my early 20s (85kg vs 65kg). I'm by no means overweight now - but I look at that and think how insanely underweight I must have been then.

I wore the same shirt that I wore on my wedding day (15years ago) on our aniversary last year - still fit pretty well, but I had to give my suit pants to Vinnies years ago - not only am I never going to be a 29in waist again, but I can't even get my legs into the super-skinny style that was in fashion at the time

I took D Fifita out of my team for the first time yesterday and just had a look at his scores in 2020. He played 80 min in every game, so won't be playing any more minutes in 2021.

I think a lot of people on here are playing him. Is the expectation that he'll do better because he is in a better team or are there other upsides?

dunno if he really needs to do much better, avg'd 57, wouldnt take too much to turn that into 60+

one of the few players you kind of expect to banner up at some point.

Just make it so you need the Coaches permission to change size during the season. An undersized shirt is the punishment if you are putting on weight

I won't be surprised if Fatrell breaks down this season carrying the extra weight, that's if he gets running at all.

Guys got all the talent in the world but does himself no favours at the pie cart.

Yes I am throwing stones in a greenhouse here, but I am not in the NRL. Razz

I was about 65kg from the age of 12 til my late 20s. Tried to put on weight (to stop getting shoved around as much in the paint playing basketball) but just couldn't. Much happier at my current weight (even with a bit of a beer gut).

Oh, on your website and on Fantasy it is saying 54.6 for a 2020 avg. I suppose it is also that only Frizell and Matterson did better, so Fifita is Top3 EDG..

RL is a sport that is completely unrecognizable to what is was 50-60 years ago, and where major rule changes are implemented in the middle of seasons without trials or consultation, but we must preserve the sanctity of 1-13 being certain positions (except when they move positions during the game, of course. Or the interchange.)

I think having squad numbers like soccer is a no brainer eventually.

I wouldn’t suggest meaningless numbers like AFL and basketball. We all couldn’t cope, clearly.

that includes one game where he only played 40 mins (which will probably happen at some point again), but yeah, if you set it to 70+ min games it removes that game and bumps the average up

On my wedding day, I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time

I cracked over 100kg during COVID with the lack or exercise and excess food+drink that entailed.
Back down to 95 now, and would like to get down to 85.
    65 is never happening.

My wedding day is in September this year. My goal is to get down to 95... Currently at about 105 (I honestly don't look 105, no clue how I am that weight). Playing AFL this year and doing all the pre-season conditioning is helping me, plus boot camp every other day and watching what I am eating. To be 95 or under on my wedding day would really be such a blessing for me. Last time I was that light was when I was on Keto and I was 92 kg's (2019).

My missus just started the Lady Shake and I am thinking of going on the Man Shake for a bit to see how I go.
