Oh nice fair enough thanks for the responses. Follow up question I guess: why did guys like Havili (who played MID plenty last year) lose their DPP and guys like Crichton who barely (if ever) played MID last year keep their DPP?

Is it just the derps at NRL.com being derps, or is there a rule/algorithm for it?

It's just the vibe of the thing. It's a game, they make the rules, most of the time they make sense. We role with it accordingly. There's no formula.

Unlike stats which NRL uses external providers, DPP is purely a fantasy feature which I think only Lone scout has control of Razz Razz Razz

Don't think so. We all assume it's Chris Kennedy though.

I was just thinking to myself if Cleary will be able to sustain his enormous kick meters every game? After what Melbourne did to him in that GF by rushing him on every 5th tackle to shut him down could be a new game plan to shut down his kicking game. You'd figure surely coaches will look to do that this year and heavily pressure him. Just a cheeky thought, keen to get your guys' opinion on it

That's very nice secret keeping. Spose could do a text analysis to determine if the same language was used in Kennedy's and the Scout's posts, but that might be just a little bit nerdy.

It might work early in the game, but if this year the game's quicker, maybe the defender's have less energy for rushing him??

I wouldn’t get too carried away playing different in game scenarios in my head. He is the best half in the game both fantasy and reality. Young, now tasted a GF loss will only motivate him I think been so close yet missing out

Look at the thread title. It was named in honour of what you should be saying more so that newbies on here don't get misguided

In their podcasts, I’ve always think he is the main guy and CK is his sidekick. I’ve tried to query this to him but he just ignored me Razz

Damn Welshy, glad I read this, I 'had' Gosi on my bench, I wondered what the lingering smell was.

I did wonder why a guy priced at 288K and (quoting someone else) is 95% likely to get the edge has been avoided by 97.6% of players Razz

I think it's fine to load up on a certain team, as long as each individual pick is justifiable. In my first year, 2016, pretty sure half my team was Roosters. Fifita's already a gun, just remains to be seen how gunny he is. Tino's quite popular and seems to be set for a decent role this year, but is still an unproven midranger who we are hoping to become a gun as far as fantasy goes. I've currently got him. Fogarty doesn't seem popular on here, I've got him currently. Again he's an unproven midranger as far as fantasy goes. I'm not expecting 65s, mid to high 50s I think is possible with goalkicking and taking ownership of the team and behind a better pack with Fifita outside him. There's a bit of gut feel about though, I admit. Brimson is a tier two gun at WFB who seems fully priced to me. Can't go wrong with him but not seeing any value there.

I'm wondering if the bigger concern rather than too many Titans, is too many midrangers. A lot of stuff has to go right for Tino, TKO, Fog etc to all come good.
