Had some mixed results over the last couple of weeks. Did really well in the Origin game (max entered and doubled up) but did really poorly in the Dragons game on Monday. Hopefully can enter teams in most games this coming weekend.

First & anytime try scorer value plays & Draftstars projections are all up for Round 15: https://edge.sporttechdaily.com/nrl

Nice work mate. Will reply with my numbers after this weekend but since start of last year I've been using our model projections & optimiser to create teams. Last year for a stretch of 15 weeks, was tracking at 30% profit. This year has been around 20% profit. Just on NRL & $15 comps. Having a profit over 3 years is a good effort mate, especially if that includes all sports!

Holy shitballs, mate, that's some serious coin. Nice profit, though.

Curious as Rev is to see if this info is easily obtainable. I've only been playing two seasons and whilst last year I played weekly using my winnings (until I blew it all on the BBL), I have done nothing but pump money into it this year - thankfully small amounts. But never got up more than a dollar or two at a time, which is quickly lost in the next contest. Been an incredibly poor effort from me this year.

You can download it from history in the top right on the website. Not sure about the app.
It's easy af to filter by sports and amounts for entries etc. Definitely way better than the betting sites who usually make it a pain in the arse to sort this out!

13% up in 2021. Was around 30% profit over 15 weeks last season so need to have a look into where things can be improved!

Oh dear, so I need to quit this thing asap. Much smaller funds than you dudes, but if my calculations are correct I'm about 20% down in total. Sad

Depends on why you play mate. If you're just entering in a couple of teams for fun when you're watching games then I guess the results aren't as important. I've started a sport data startup last year (sporttechdaily) and we've worked on building models to have projections for nrl draftstars so I've taken it seriously since post-covid. I was atrocious at draftstars when playing without any tools (would have literally lost like 50% of my money or something from 2017-19, but only entered 1-2 teams when watching with mates).

On that note haha, first & anytime tryscorer data updated for Origin game 2 on edge.sporttechdaily.com/nrl
Will do Origin DFS data later in the week when the contests are out.

Yeah mate, mostly just to try and add a bit of extra interest to matches, particularly when I don't have many Fantasy players in them. I think my biggest downfall is that I just throw together teams within a few minutes here and there after the final team lists drop. I've thought before to check out your site (thanks for the reminder!) but never have the time, sadly. Will give it a crack, though...

Hey lads, had some interest around the work we've been doing in the tryscorer & draftstars space. I've left a few links below & more than happy to discuss further here. To clarify, we've worked on models using R and also have NRL Fantasy projections (wasn't sure how to promote this so haven't so far..) Anyways if you've got any questions or suggestions feel free to let us know!

Updated the tryscorer & draftstars data for today - edge.sporttechdaily.com/nrl
Being stuck at home during lockdown I've been doing writeups and sharing them on our social media, will include them here below too:

    FTS
Kevin Proctor @ $46 on Sportsbet. Noticeably higher odds than on other sites and way better price then our model or his historical strike rate suggests he should be. Playing in a Titans team that can rack up the points, will be a fun value play to follow!

CHN @ $26 on Sportsbet. Has been in great form over the last few weeks and similar to Proctor, priced higher on SB than other sites and way higher than his career strike rate. Seb Kris might also move to the right no Croker is back who is also good value.

Daniel Saifiti ($67), Dunamis Lui & Jarrod Wallace ($81). There are a few middles playing today who are a great price compared to their career strike rate or our model odds. Just watch out for final team lists to see whether to get on FTS or FTS 2nd half.

    ATS
Connor Watson @ $8.50 on TAB. Way higher on TAB than other sites and even though he'll likely be playing off the bench, in a (likely) high scoring game he'll be up against the Cowboys bench forwards in a roaming role. Best value ATS play of the day imo.

Lawton or Haumole @ $4 and $3.75 on Neds and SB respectively. Both way higher on these sites and way better priced than our model would suggest. With Turbo in hot form and a severely understrength Bulldogs outfit, they could be great plays for your SGMs for Super Saturday

Wish I had of seen those ATS numbers earlier, some good value that got up there.

I have 5 top 10 finishes this weekend across all sports with highest finish of 5th so a very good weekend.

Nice work mate. We've just updated our models for the run home and did really well in Round 17. Fingers crossed for similar results for Origin and Rounds 18-25!

I know they don't care, but jeez it'd be nice if they had a feature where you could swap out players that haven't played yet in their Friday combined match contest. Guess who picked DCE as his marquee signing. Ruins the moment for sure. Sad
