NRL Draftstars 2021

Trying their best aye. Don't know why they would have trouble last night, it's the same every weekend  with Nrl And Afl

This thing can be so painful when you pick most the right forwards and lose out because you pick a Peta Hiku instead of Hymel Hunt. I actually originally went with Hymel too but had a few extra dollars left over so went with Hiku instead. Ouch.

lol, what on earth happened here? $0 winnings in NRL tonight (thank you, Milf) but finished 12th overall in the AFL contest for a nice $15 for zero outlay. All I did was look at the team list, selected a group of players listed in the run-on sides and hit enter.

Maybe I should quit this NRL stuff and concentrate on AFL?

Haha nice work. Mate I know it seems like that but over the long term, playing in the sport you know more about will pay off.

Wow congrats on 8th. I'd be stoked with that.

So I ended up coming 11th in the AFL one, and I even picked up $1 for coming 3rd overall in the Free AFL contest. Madness. I was going to put the team in the 50c AFL comp too, just for fun. Wish I had now.

Yeah, I'll stick with NRL and hope it turns around, but poor start to the year so far. Was going well in the NRL $15 one, but I can only assume Milford's shitness robbed me of a finish. Full acknowledgement that I can only blame myself for that one, picking Milf. Just thought I'd go all in with my Fantasy team.

Best I've done overnight is win the round 2 in the golf, which is a 50 return for ur 5 outlay. Keeps me alive going into today's festivities!

Yeah mate I think it's one of those things where you need to give it more time too. Especially in the slate, had my own theories including going dragons backs as I thought they'd win and playing the only dry game.
I also bring the nrl fantasy element to it by starting on the forward value picks to begin to build my team.

Hopefully we can finish on a high tomorrow!

Yeah, it's definitely a tricky sport. I have a filthy habit of picking a really nice, well rounded squad... but I always just have that one player I get wrong that makes all the difference. For instance, Davey today. To me, he was an immense value pick and in my mind a sure thing. Then, first run into the match it's lights out on the whole thing.

I guess my point is that it's so painful when you make 90% good choices, but it's the one wrong choice that cruels you. So tricky to nail every single spot from FB to FRF. But man it's addictive and good fun... when your players don't get injured, lol.

But yeah, I have started out my Fantasy horrendously this year. As dramatic as it sounds, it's possibly so bad I don't think I'll be able to turn it around from here, which is mind boggling to me in R2. But it's bad. So this here's a nice outlet to in a sense take my mind off how poorly Fantasy is going so far for me.

Didn't do great today, but almost broke even which I'll take as it's still a profit for the weekend... so far. But really hoping I can get at least one solid result tomorrow. Good luck to you and other punters in this thread too.

First I've ever looked at that tonight - what a cool concept. Big win too if you go for 5/5, even for $2 investment.

I went in the free one to test the waters as I found all the match ups too hard, lol.

I had JFH and Kikau but the other 3 same as you. No way would I be putting big dollars on this thing. But seems like good fun.

Im in the RF for a fiver, Milchys created league and the $15 tonight.

In the NBA Rapid fire 5/5 i have been hitting about 1 in 4 when trying.

Well that went poorly.

As did my team entry, had DCE and no Kikau and that was that.

May hold on to win the inaugural FF $2 comp though if updates are kind

I was going okay (okay for me is breaking even, lol) and doubling my input right up until the literal last minute. I didn't have Momo, so I guess everyone who had him skipped ahead of me at the end. Had Kikau and To'o and looked okay, but Boyle's injury fucked me and Crichton was far more underwhelming than I could have imagined.
