If you can't upgarde a WFB cow straight to Teddy (and its unlikely that you will be able to do it in 1 trade) You do it by trading a forward/half to Teddy, and then fix up WFB in future weeks.

Last year I think Taumalolo to teddy was a popular trade (if not Taumalolo then some other expensive forward), as one got injured as the other dropped in price. Something like that might pop up again this year, but obviously you can't count on it in your planning.

But working out when to trade Teddy in is not really any different to working out when to trade in Cook or Haas or some other gun you start without.

Agreed, just the other point I'm trying to make, is you can only play 3 players at WFB. I know you can trade out any player to upgrade to Teddy, but you still want the highest scoring in the fixed 1-13. By having Teddy in WFB from the start. Coupled with the challenge of cash generating with only 21 player rosters

really what would the difference be if Tino played prop or lock. they both play in the centre of the field and unless the lock is a Victor Radley/Tyrone Peachey type they are just a third prop which is what Tino would be. Playing Tino at prop would leave titans looking like:

    8: Fotuaika
    10: Tino
    13: Peachey
    14: Ese'Ese
    15: Wallace
    16. McIntyre/Fermour/Stone
    17: Lisone/Joliffe/Boyd

seems just as good if not better. three big minute fit middle players and 2 or 3 players on the bench perfect for short explosive stints

I feel that Tino is still on the rise as a fantasy relevant player. I expect him to get that 50-60min Lock role which he can make his own. Titans style of game will suit his role better, the Storm tend to spread it wide, I think the Titans will go through the middle a bit more. Anyway I optimistically expect him to score around 50 points on avg.

My bold prediction is 35 minutes for Peachey. 20 at lock, 15 at hooker, unless there are injuries in the backline. Yes he got more last year, but last year they didn't have Herman and Tino.

How do you rate NAS in comparison? Are you taking both of them?

That's only a 7 point increase on last season, not keeper level and plays origin. Not worth selecting if he averages 50.

Sonny Bill Williams has reportedly been asked to go back to the Roosters to help guide teenage prospect Joseph Suaalii.

Williams – who won a premiership with the Roosters in 2014 – had a short stint in the NRL with the Sydney club in 2019, but is now focusing on his boxing career.

I think it is a great role for him, having been a star 18 year old when he arrived in the NRL.

I don't understand why people think that Peachey will play hooker at all this season. Last season i don't think he went to hooker a single time and I know he went to hooker at the trial but he looked terrible there and i think it was more Holbrook just wanted to have a look at how he would go there than Peachey preparing to play there during the season

I had him in my team and he played hooker last season at the end of games, when Arrow was back on

I think a good test with starting teams is to imagine yourself at the end of the season looking back at round one and thinking of which players you'll be saying "Jesus, what was I thinking of when I picked him?" The Danny Levi test. At the moment I have Milford and Croker.
