Mildly interested in both Molo and Leota. McGuire and Leniu could usurp them respectively, but their averages at starting prop are both based off a small sample of about 40 minutes. Underpriced definitely, but just not enough to pick them. If either bumps up in minutes they will make absolute bank. Probably the two biggest names on my minutes watch for round 1.

It's risky imo. He's a half in a team that "might" win 2 of their first 9..

Yikes didn't see that draw that's actually terrible. Surely they at least show some fight.

The thing putting me off host was the prospect of Koloa pushing him out. Although I do agree Koloa has a massive impact off the bench. You are right though, Gosi is a shithouse replacement and there are no other edge/MID prospects as good in that price range.

Yeah after watching the Charity Shield I think Koloa is better as impact in the middle as well. Hopefully Host cements the 80min EDG role but time will tell I guess

Dragons played Clune at dummy half in Charity Shield and actually looked half decent. If Norman wasn't suspended we would've got a better look at what the top 17 would actually be and where Clune fits in but unfortunately that didn't eventuate. Though can definitely see the points upside in Macca. Considering him myself but really hesitant

Long term 2RF average of 42, don't see it either

2RF outside of the elite all have a cap, nature of position but some don't see it. Can list some excellent players all in the same range of Capewell who go up/down a few points each year usually depending on how many times they score

Whitehead, WGraham, Kaufusi, Elliott, Garner, Kikau, Sua, Cordner, Hess, Proctor, Bromwich etc etc etc etc

I'm fine getting someone expecting a 45 but expecting an elevation past 50 is probably a bridge too far for me

Capewell is pretty attractive to me.
Looked really good last year I thought. Averaged 49mins for 39. 0.8ppm.
At 80 minutes he could definitely average 50 if he keeps scoring tries - which surely he will in that team.

Twal is also one that I'm surprised has had little interest. Priced at 53 he averaged 59mins last year with a few low minute games and pre injury it was looking like being much higher.
0.9ppm means any increase (say 70mins) would result in him moving back towards a 60 point player.

Ive really come around to Sitili but I cant fit him in. Obvs the stats say he is slightly underpriced but more of a gut feel on him. Just like the fact hes got his preferred right side and running beside Keary cant be a bad thing

All of which leaves me with Niu and Averillo as my starting CTRs, and the Fus on my EMG as a warm body with DPP.

    Vomit

I wanna pick the Milf too, but I'm much more confident with Bird and Roberts at centre as opposed to those two/three, whereas I can find a suitable replacement for Milf on the bench which isn't too bad.

Mine too. I don’t know whether to switch something up for an early POD or go with the majority. I don’t have Angus which is worrying given his popularity.

Teams are looking very similar post TLT

Rankings are going to be very close this year.

All those POD lovers can either burn to the front or get rankings in the 5 figures.

And he is such a great player to watch! Last year he made some blistering runs.

TLT didn't throw up any surprises. On the flip side, group think is becoming an issue in here. Last year was similar and as a forum we had our worst year in a long time.

For those who know how the magic number works, out of curiosity, if Cleary at 973K only played 1 min in round 1 and scored zero, what's the most amount of money he could lose after round 1?

Yeah maybe. Thing is I'm not sure of Kevvies coaching strategy if they lose a few. "Attack more" doesn't really work outside of Origin

Might have to sacrifice Hoy to get Roberts in and move Avo to EMG. Not sure yet.

It depends on how many points are scored overall that week (which impacts magic number) but he'd lose approx 80k

All the talk is that the whole pre season was spent on defense. Players have said they havent done much work on attack.

All well and good but fell away badly in the trial. Big worry if they also cant score points lol

Fine line between positivity and delusion isn’t there. Based on this I’m considering taking him out of my team.....that and the basketball shorts he was wearing Laughing

.....also went away for an hour or two and everyone is now on Milf. I thought I was the only fool.

The lowest he could drop to is about $890k with a BE of 100+ for round 2

Im looking at my side and i cant fault any of the selections and despite the favt its cookie cutter here, i dont think im following group think with any of them, really

That said i do think centre is a crap shoot. There are a host of low 300s ctrs that could score well but only a couple are being picked up

Tlt didnt change much for me except now ive narrowed down to two big choices. Tedesco + someone like sitili or isaako and a gun from any position.
