He's scored like a spud as an 80 minute hooker previously. I have both and far more confident with Turpin

Tedesco becomes Reimis so I can get Crichton and SST in.

My team is becoming heavily Roosters and Storm dominant, not unhappy

Don't you have plodders like Josh Jackson? I'd be getting rid of the likes of them. I currently have Teddy SST Crichton

Based on the fact that his starting price is basically the same as Levi was last season (While Brailey is 100k cheaper), that he isn't a proven regular 80min hooker and that the Broncs don't implement a bench Hok a week later killing his chances. Not saying Brailey is without risk, but that 100k cheaper price tag wins it for him and don't think my team benefits at all with running both of them

Jackson is looking set for a big minute lock role. Wouldnt surprise me to see him and Elliott swap during the game and both play 80 minutes.

Brailey is a better footballer than Levi or Turpin. Doesn't always convert to fantasy but he won't be in and our of the side.

I have had a play around and I am liking Fifita --> SST and Averillo --> Bird. Gives me Lodge and Riki on the bench as forward cover with Crichton and Sitili starting at edge. The only issues is that SST might not be a season keeper whereas Fifita probably is at edge. It does solve the Averillo problem though.

Turpin has shown he can score in a 60 minute role what Brailey does getting 80 minutes. In his only 80 minute game at hooker, Turpin scored 62, with 64 tackles, 3 missed. Has shown he has an engine to play 80 effectively and Kevvy clearly believes that as well. Nothing at all like Levi.

While Rabbits21 is onto his 40th team build iteration, I have just completed my 4th and am pretty happy with it. Am I doing this wrong?

Turpin is an absolute workhorse in defence. That bench is perfect for him to play 80 aswell - not that expensive either, lock him in for my team.

TO RESTORE EVERYONE'S FAITH IN TURPIN

As far as we know the Broncos bench shows Turpin is set for an 80 minute roll (unless Glenn or Asiata find themselves filling in for a bit) but at worst it'll be 55-65 minutes, if that's the case.

Let's start off with at worst - In Turpin’s 55-65 minute games at hooker over his career is 44.75 (4 games). Note that this average includes scores of 52 and 47 in 55-65 minute games with the new 2020 rules.

Best cast scenario (80 minutes) – Turpin averages 59.7 (3 games, also including 1 try) when playing 80 minutes at hooker. This average includes a 62 in the new 2020 rules where he made 64 tackles with 3 missed and 0 attacking stats.

Turpin’s average (hooker) since the rule changes (R3 onwards) but not including R14 where he played 30 minutes and got injured is 53.67.

According to the numbers his average will probably sit around 45 to 60. Hopefully; with some improvement to the Broncos, he won’t be required to make 64 tackles a game and can find some attacking stats in the mix.

For someone who’s BE is 40, has no origin and plays the first bye, he at absolute… ABSOLUTE worst makes a tiny bit of coin and can sit on your bench (assuming someone like Brailey/Liddle are outperforming him) until he needs to be traded out.

Best case scenario he is pushing 55+, makes a bucket load of coin and can sit on your bench all year or be a swap to Cook after Origin.

TL;DR – Don’t get cold feet on Turps. His BE is low and looks to be playing 80 minutes.

So with Keighran on bench does that mean Friend has a spell and Lam plays dummy half?

Cool the jets mate, Turpin has played 3 80 minutes games in career. Christ even Levi scored over 60 points 5 times playing over 70 minutes. There are going to be some duds like everyone has. I think everyone will be more than happy if he goes around 50
