I'm probably stuck with Stefan, just deciding on last EMG (Leniu/Alvaro/Moylan/Avo/Croker)

    Brailey
    Crichton Watson Lodge
    Fifita Riki
    Cleary Lam
    Ave Roberts
    Papy RTS Laurie

    T.Harris Turpin Host Liddle

    Leniu Stefano Simonsson Niu

39.2% of people have Tino so went with Harris will score better get more minutes and only 10% own him. I've 143k in the bank.

I want Turbo but don't know who I'll trade out to get him maybe Simonsson.

Do you guys reckon it’s worth dropping Averillo/Moylan down to Simonsson so I can turn Host into Milf? Surely he can hit 40+ right? And Host JS is questionable. Here is my team atm

    Turpin
    Tino Watson Lodge
    Fifita Riki
    Cleary Lam
    Bird Roberts
    Teddy Laurie Papy

    Angus
    Brailey
    Liddle
    Host
    Stefano

    Moylan
    Averillo

Should I trade Turbo in now so it saves a trade. Bring him in over Simonsson not a fan of him? Nevermind can't afford him lol

To start last year when Capewell was playing lock (I think) guy went on an absolute tear for a few weeks prior to getting injured. Bloke has a big motor and 80 is pretty easily achievable for him. The real question mark is will he be used that way and will he stay healthy?

On a side note, his brother Sam is a good mate of mine. Terrific bloke. They're a lovely family as well. Have had a few bevvies with em over the years and can confirm that Kurt is a large human!

As crap as Simonsson is, he will score points and make some money over the next 4 weeks

Trbo will just take up cap space, make no money and risk getting injured before actually playing

Not sure if it's been discussed but is anyone still going with Brandon Smith or is NAS a better option now? Already have Welch and don't think Tino will score as well as what we think.

I'm not sure if I'll pick one of them, or neither.

It's pretty easy to see both upside and downside of both.

Both of them look like high ppm players in the kind of stints they should get and are going to be big min players in the future, but it just depends on what the coach sees in them now

Leniu should get 30 mins I think. Eisenhuth is an ok player but he doesn't really add anything when they already have superior blokes playing big mins. I doubt he stands in the way of Leniu

Stefano a better chance of making a bit of coin if he gets some mins, just so hard to tell what stage he's at in Maguires eyes. I thought he looked really solid in the trial, only played a shortish stint (whereas Maguire gave Ofa and Packer a second stint), don't know if you can read anything into that or not. He's a big fkn lad and looks to move really well. Bit of Haas about him. There's a scenario where he quickly becomes #1 bench prop (and ultimately relegates Ofa to the bench), also a scenario where he's eased in behind Mikaele and plays 15 to 20 mins a game

Here's a team with everyone below 10% ownership.  An exercise to see if it tossed up anything interesting.

    Koro
    TKO, Welsh, Ofa
    Matterson, Host
    DCE, Brooks
    Momo, Reimis
    Cotric, Coates, Isaako

    Milford, Croker, Hodgson, CHT

    Fui, Mead, Gosi, Alvaro

    ---------------

Re ownership, I normally pay no attention, and follow the "pick the players I think will score the most' route.

BUT checking ownership stats makes me realise that the biggest POD I have by far is that I don't have Tino - who is now at about 40% ownership.

The issue is, do you run them to bolster your 17, or sacrifice a couple of spots in your 17 just to boost your EMG. I'm toying with running both as I don't want to downgrade a 17 player just to fit a better EMG in.

Saying that, I'm also toying if someone like Leniu is a better EMG than Moylan or Avo.

I prefer the backs, better chance of stringing a few 50+ together and pumping their price

Yeah I think Leniu gets similar minutes to what Leota got last season, anywhere between 20 & 40 mins. With Leota taking Tamou's mins, at least to start the season.

Yeah, a spud like Moylan looks more solid in the 4 EMG.

I need to get some mid/edge cover. Currently that is Kerr but he was underwhelming to say the least on the edge in the charity shield and is a middie, not an edge player.

Have been tossing up Uno Uto, Leniu and others as well... Just can't pull the trigger on anyone atm.

I'm toying with taking one of either Deitz, Sam Walker or Jake Simpkins. Thinking Sam Walker due to knowing he will get a chance at some stage and with Keary and his hammy and concussion issues along with security for Lam being dropped it might be an Ok play. Can have the option to have two bites at the cherry with 4th reserve.

Jake Simpkin could be a good play since Tigers play on sunday first 5 weeks. Saves wasting a trade on a dud like Daniel Suluka Fifita or someone.

I'm not sold on Tino but I'm not bold enough to go against the most popular player in fantasy.

It's not really relevant for all the casuals that have him but with that high an ownership number, most of the serious teams would be running with him too and well I'd rather go down with the ship if he sinks rather than be a step behind everyone else if he goes good.

Not sure if Kerr is worth that price tag mate. If he was starting prop I could see it though.
