Fuck sake, and me. The only thing I was slightly happy with was hitting 900.

Won't be open in time for next round if they're still reviewing Friday nights games.
Tookey wrote:Everyone complaining about the Jet scoring shit, not getting involved etc. From the limited game time I watched of the Tigers Raiders all they seemed to do was attack left. Not much he could have done.
Now Bird on the other hand he did get involved and had plenty of opportunities but played like absolute shit!
So glad I have both as my centres!

Agree on Roberts. I think the 'he didn't look interested' take is a bit harsh, he just got limited chances and when it did come his way his connection with Mbye and others was super clunky. Hopefully Doueihi makes a difference. Regardless he'll have his fair share of big 20+ point plays at some point.

Bird will be fine - he was getting more involved as the game went on, in a few weeks and with dry tracks I think they’ll be 40s every other week
We need a 24 cooling off period. For example, is anyone still bringing in Arrow?
Yes, seems they are still defining what constitutes a turnover.rhinoceroo wrote:Just looked to see if it's open (it's not) and Turpin has gone down by four. So have a few others eg Alvaro. Can't be sure without remembering the exact scoring but maybe they've done a fresh sweep of turnovers.
I think i just went up 4, maybe it was your 4, thanks if soAardvark wrote:Every time I check I’ve gone down four points! Might only open it again on Thursday

Same as an edge rower making 35 tackles one week when all the play heads their way, vs 20 tackles the next when it doesn’t.

Lucy had 2 times that he got the ball from the opposition after it had bounced on the ground and didn't get either turnover. Seems a bit of a lottery.
One was where they passed the ball, it went to ground and he dived to catch the ball. The other was when the ball bounced off the opposition's head and he was first one to it. Neither was a situation where there was a knock on from the opposition. Would be good to get clarity on what qualifies.rhinoceroo wrote:
I don't remember those so can't say if Lucy was dudded, but it's supposed to be for forcing a turnover or catching an interception, not picking up the ball of the ground after a turnover.

Exactly. All about matchups as well, look at the Roosters game, Keary/Manu/Sitili v Foran/Gosi/Parker, was always going to be the dominant attack side instead of DCE/Siro/SuliMilchcow wrote:
Specifically for the Tigers, they were playing without their first choice right side half in Adam Doueihi.
In the trial against Manly it was the opposite and they chucked everything down the right side and mostly ignored the left. I'm sure Roberts will get more chances to impress in other games.
